Analogue
I'm sure I'm not the only one to do this but since I can't find anything, I successfully converted the textures to work with txd workshop and GTA III. The DFFs or TXDs aren't specifically ready for any direct modding so you'd have to either replace an existing ped or somehow add a new one. Have fun! MrMateczko
I had seen the Buster being done by bammargera from this forum, but not the other peds. Good Job!
Arsen Vitiuk
Nice work, man! It's a large step forward in rendering the textures from the beta. It is minute, but it really means much, believe me! Tons of for you job!

Agem
Wow, that's interesting! I have seen the sax one before, but not the ones with poncho, nice work! Just wondering, are there more in the files?
Jago
I had seen the Buster being done by bammargera from this forum, but not the other peds. Good Job! Those conversions were done by Ghost Bear who sadly isn't active anymore, I handed them over to Bam because he wanted to convert them to SA:LC with working anims and toottoottoot music noise. http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=451819&st=20# I'm actually glad these peds were dug up and reconverted by someone else, that Sendspace link went down long ago and I lost the files. Cheers. Edited September 20, 2012 by Mr. Jago
ccrogers15
Is there any way to actually get the drummer guy working correctly? Like see him sitting in the street?
Jago
Is there any way to actually get the drummer guy working correctly? Like see him sitting in the street? Definitely not in GTA III no, for him to work the model will probably have to be edited so he can walk like a normal person. Also, what do you guys think of this? Positioning the sax busker's arms so it looks like he's playing it, attaching the arms to the spine, having him replace the fat black male ped wearing headphones, then replacing the music he listens to with sax noises. NewportByChrysler
Would have to make it so he can't drive cars, plus, what about anims such as putting their hands up? Adding them as completely new peds would require default.ide, pedgrp & pedstats modification.
Jago
Would have to make it so he can't drive cars, plus, what about anims such as putting their hands up?Adding them as completely new peds would require default.ide, pedgrp & pedstats modification. The forearms and hands (including the sax itself) would be in a fixed position and attached to the biceps. He wouldn't be able to drive because of course it'd be impossible to make him not spawn with the sax (short of adding a separate ped). The core file stuff would also be easy since there's numerous slots in default.ide left for new peds, and the entries for the buskers are still there but commented out. There's even stats for the buskers, and I can make them spawn around China Town. The reason I want to replace the fat black male is because I have a feeling making a ped play a looped noise like that is hardcoded especially for him. It'd just be a hacky little thing to do, wouldn't make much sense since he'd still be holding the sax post-death, but it'd be interesting to see in action. I'll think about ripping the sounds from GTA IV.

BTW, the music loop continues even after the fat black guy with headphones dies.
Jago
The sound effect I prepared doesn't work at all and the busker model crashes the game. I think at this point I'd rather convert him to GTA IV with working props. Edited January 21, 2013 by Mr. Jago
