gtafanny
Hey people. I began to wonder today as I was playing IV, the policemen walking on the street doing their patrol are all lone individuals. In any large city, it would be pretty difficult to find just one policeman walking the streets by himself. I think in V this should be fixed up. There should be at least a pair of policemen together when working the streets. just my opinion. Share yours.
MagzGTA
Yeah would make more sense! Althoug I'd lime to see the baton being brought back for 1 star wanted levels! I hate how if you resist they just start shooting!
MikeMyth
Yeah, they should bring back batons. Set it so that if you resist and have a gun, you get a two-star wanted level and they shoot. Then if you don't have a weapon they use their batons on a two-star wanted level. That would be nice.

Johan
There's groups of them in front of the police station but I know what you mean OP, here in NYC you see at least 2-3 police officers walking together down the street would love to see it in V
Dale Nixon
Should be a fine mixture of both. Obviously seeing two officers patrolling together would be prevalent, but it's still possible to see only one. TheTerminatorNY
Rookie officers fresh out of the NYPD academy are assigned to IMPACT, which often times has them patrolling an area on foot. While they are usually paired up, it is not uncommon for an officer to patrol a small are alone. This may be what R* was going for with LCPD officers in GTA IV. I'm guessing it was also easier to program one cop as opposed to a pair. I don't remember ever seeing a husband/wife or boyfriend/girlfriend walking down the street together. BillPatt
Actually NYC has police officers walking around alone or with another officer.

Patrizio
As long as they are not on every corner like in IV.
Versous
I think the wanted level system should be heavily improved anyway.
MosquitoSmasher
This reminds me of that cop that has his car parked on a bridge and it always stands there, i believe there's also another pedestrian's car there, i always wondered what was up with that, lol. .dre.
Around here I never see any police officers just casually walking by, and mind you I live a block away from a precinct. If anything they should be more rare.
MIKON8ERISBACK
In GTA IV, when cops are in cars, I always remember them being in pairs (groups of two). When a lone cop on the street makes an arrest (I love to help them out by pushing the fleeing suspect down) the lone cop gets in the back of a police car with the suspect, thus making the officers a group of three. MikeMyth
^ I could never have a fair melee fight with the cops in IV I'd try to hit guns out of their hands with the bat, without knocking them out. Then go hand to hand, considering it's the only way you can fight a police officer without a weapon. It was pretty hard though. :\
