When it comes to game asset releases or announcements, Rockstar works out the timing very carefully. At this point, I highly doubt they'd have it as sort of "hhm... this week, or maybe the next week". He must feel very confident if he's making such a bold statement so we'll just have to wait and see. But as you said, it could just be a guess what with Rockstar's earlier statements. Everybody know that the "next big thing" is very close, so wouldn´t be surprising to have info this week or the next( by the way I don´t expect new info until october). What this guy does is take advantage of people´s desperation to make some money with an obvious prediction. Remember man, since TakeTwo has given an earnings estimate of $1.8 billion, every single meeting or conference call is important and could always reveal some little tidbit of information. It's either they change their numbers, or release the game soon, so I'll be paying attention to this meeting. It is important to note, however, that this is a shareholder meeting, not a conference call, so there's a chance they won't even address their previously-published earnings expectations. It's not a shareholder's meeting to talk about GTAV, it's a shareholders meeting to vote on previously determined topics, which according to my proxy papers that I received from TTWO over a month ago, did not include GTAV on the agenda. On topic, I don't trust this ChampChong idiot. In my eyes he's just another 'source' jumping on the bandwagon. He clearly reads these forums, and his latest prediction is nothing more than speculation that's already been circulating around the internet since R*'s last screen release that stated "in a few weeks or so". So a few weeks have passed, and now people are saying that we should expect info, as if the people claiming it just found out. I haven't watched the video, but to my understanding, he did not say "I received word from R*...", he just said " I received word". That right there suggests that his "source" was nothing legitimate. As I said, there have been many sites and articles claiming that info may come this week, and it's all predicated on R*'s blurb in their last release of screens, as well as Rockstarinformer's recent article, which has no merit as they have no legitimate ties to R* inside info either. ChampChong knows nothing, and is banking on what R* said a few weeks ago, and what you and I and everyone else on this forum knew 3 weeks ago. There's a possibility, but we just don't know for sure. This mod was beginning to be famous when it was released for GTA San Andreas the first time. It was released for GTA Vice City (and III), GTA IV and a lot of other games out there like Resident Evil, Micecraft etc. etc. aswell.
