GroveStRoamer
So I was thinking.....In every Gta, there is an amazing story in the game. In particular I Enjoyed SA And IV's stories, Because both Protagonists were very loyal to family and friends. Here is my thoughts on the depth of the story for this game: MAIN STORY AND CHARACTERS The main story should be fantastic considering we are back in Los Santos after finishing a very in-depth adventure back in Liberty City. Parts of the story very well may stretch on from the IV Series....Since the homeless man found diamonds in the end of TBOGT, and is seen homeless again in the trailer, and appears to be in the robbery van too! What happened here? Rockstar won't leave us hanging. In the story, we will meet many new characters like in every other Gta game obviously, but where will these characters take us? We have met several unique characters in the past and Rockstar can only make new cooler ones to relate with us, and the protagonist. SIDE MISSIONS/GIRLFRIENDS We might see some more side missions on the streets again in this game. We may encounter Druggies who need us to get their fix for them, Gang bangers who need someone killed but dont want heat, Conspiracy theorists who want us to distract the government or cops, Celebrities using us to control the paparazzi... The possibilities are absolutely endless!! If there is an In-game internet again, we could see more girlfriends. Maybe we can date a gangbanger and have trouble with her homies Maybe Rockstar will make the Santa marina interactive with dates. LIFE CHOICES This played a big role in Gta IV. Wont throw any spoilers out there, but they make a big difference throughout the story. This is an obvious feature that will be in Gta V's story.. The Protagonist will make his own choices throughout the story... Like Joining a gang or deciding to Open up a business. CURRENCY/BUSINESS I would love to see Assets and Businesses return. Gta IV Lacked this one big time. I would enjoy to Find an add on the In game internet about a business for sale. The MC Can buy or rent a place and decide what he wants it to be, and Have a safe in the back of the business. Maybe a code to get money out of the safe, Instead of a dollar sign floating in the air. This is just an idea about what the story should be and how this can Evolutionize Gta forever...

wwinterj
The only GTA with a good story to me was GTA IV although I like past GTA games better. Good suggestions though.
MosquitoSmasher
The only GTA with a good story to me was GTA IV although I like past GTA games better. Good suggestions though. Yeah, i definitely agree. The story was rather interesting in GTA IV, with several likeable characters, such as Niko, someone you can really symphatize for. The previous games didn't have a story like that, they were more funny and couldn't be taken seriously. That's not to say there weren't plenty of funny moments in cutscenes in GTA IV though. And yeah as for the gameplay itself, i definitely had more fun in GTA VC and SA compared to IV. But that's not to say that IV wasn't fun, just not as fun. GTA V could be the perfect GTA. Lots of things to explore and do, and a great story.

SA was awesome because things unfolded right in front of you. Same goes for VC. The important events that happened in VC made you feel like things would change

All of the other stories felt cheap. IV wasn't amazing as far as story, but GTA stories before IV weren't even good, so IV is the best imo. The only reason I'm able to play IV's story over again is because of the story. I've finished it already four times.
