Soup Kitchen Posted September 16, 2012 Share Posted September 16, 2012 Does anybody else find it strange that Rockstar would feature a link to a (presumably fake) gameplay video on their Newswire? (I'm talking about the first youtube clip by FranSnk3d.) It has since been assumed that this video is fake, but I think there may well be more to this story. Rockstar advises that most if not all of the rumours you encounter will be fake, yet never actually deny this video. Not only that, they actively link to the youtube clip, thereby offering that clip instant and massive attention from the online community. They offer us a general statement about rumour and gossip and then this non-denial: "As a rule, we are not going to get into the game of confirming or denying each of these as they happen as there is simply too much of it."
