golf wang
I want some norteños, cumbias, and corridors. This. That would capture the sounds of the Latino commmunity of Los Angeles perfectly.
rex84
Narcocorridos are not Mariachi Music, LOL. A Narcocorrido is a type of Mexican music and song tradition which evolved out of the norteño folk corrido tradition. This type of music is heard on both sides of the US–Mexican border. It uses a danceable, accordion-based polka as a rhythmic base. The first corridos that focus on drug smugglers—the narco comes from "narcotics"—have been dated to the 1930s. Early corridos (non-narco) go back as far to the Mexican Revolution of 1910, telling the stories of revolutionary fighters. Other music critics have compared narcocorrido music to gangster rap. Narcocorrido lyrics refer to particular events and include real dates and places. The lyrics tend to speak approvingly of illegal criminal activities such as murder, torture, racketeering, extortion, drug smuggling, illegal immigration, and sometimes political protest due to government corruption. LP-13, cabrones!
GTAb0yWonder
I LOVED ESPERANTOSO. One of the best radio stations in the history of GTA. Turned me on to so many amazing latin jazz performers. Super Strut alone is one of the best songs ever written. I remember being beyond excited to play Vice City for the very first time as those opening bars of Mama Papa Tu start up, I get chills just thinking about it. When I hear that song I feel like I can actually imagine the airport, feel the moist, humid air of Vice City and the purring engines of the Muscle Cars of Little Havana. So amazing. GTA4 on the other hand had a terrible latin station. Sorry, I just don't like reggaeton "BADA THAN THEM" - never wanna hear that song again lol. Although some of San Juan sounds from TBOGT were more enjoyable. I agree that TBOGT had a better playlist for SJS but BADA THAN THEM was from Massive Beat, the dance hall station. The only songs I really liked from San Juan Sounds were Suavemente Atrevete Guallando & Llora Llora True. R* f*cked up San Juan Sounds in IV, too much Reggaeton.
