Mr.Mister
Well it's that time of the year again, a lot of people are back at the books. Just curious, what are you guys studying? I'm in my first year of university and I'm in an English major program with a business minor. Im taking business classes right now so I can transfer into Management with a specialty in Finance for next September. Taking two MWF classes for now, no daily homework but a lot of reading and note taking. Just a few exams for each course. I'm taking Microecon 101 and Business Fundamentals

Chunkyman
Because of diploma requirements, I have to take a rather hard math class this year. It's a shame I can't wikipedia math answers...
Pyrrhic
It's a shame I can't wikipedia math answers... Use Wolfram Alpha, that thing gets me through math classes. I'm in year 9 (15 y.o.) at high school. Stefche is the only person who knows which school, turns out he lives less than 10 minutes from me. Dingdongs
Because of diploma requirements, I have to take a rather hard math class this year. It's a shame I can't wikipedia math answers... I got out of that by taking APES my senior year of high school.. didn't even have to do rocks for jocks. Anyway, studying foreign relations/polysci and economics... weird that economics interests me more than the former.
na89340qv0n34b09q340
11th Grade this year, I planned to make this year as relaxed as possible, but I still took enough advanced classes so that it doesn't look like I'm slacking off. So far everything is going as planned, except Spanish class which is mandatory because my school can't afford to offer any other languages (meanwhile they throw pep-rallies every week, and buy three different uniforms for the football team.) Torcidas
Just started my fourth and hopefully final year at the University of Toronto... I'm specializing in Computer Science and also majoring in Math and Statistics. It's been a hell-ride pretty much, the course work is really demanding and consequently gives you little time to enjoy life outside of school. I have some interesting options available for me internship wise and I'm excited for those. My favorite course that I've taken so far has got to be Operating Systems... why use Windows/Linux Distros. when you can just create your own

Ryder 556
I just so happen to have to retake grade 12. For the current semester I only have one real class, and an ILC type class where I'm doing two credit recoveries. Both of which are English. The "real" class I'm taking is some leadership course thing. Next semester I'll be taking an elearning Physics class, a Chemistry class and some native studies course only because it's easy as f*ck. Not really sure what I'm gonna do when I'm done HS but it will either be going to college for computer programming stuff, or get some friends and start a band that will eventually become part of the Canadian Indie scene(I f*cking wish)

Redketman
I live in Sweden and I recently started my second year at University. I studied Criminology and some smaller courses last year. This year I'm studying Psychology and Sociology. I don't know what I want to do in the future though but that's one reason why I study different subjects at the moment. So far I have enjoyed every subject I have studied at University in one way or another.
Guest
In 3 weeks I'll be finishing 1st year of Architecture at university. Aren't Americans in high school until they are 18 (i.e. starting senior year at 17)? Or am I thinking of Canada? In Sweden you usually attend University the year you turn 19 at the earliest. Robinski
One of my classes this year is "Popular music and film". It's a mix between studying media and how to report, review and analyse them in a journalistic manor. My first class for it is in the uni cinema. So stoked. WastedEngland
A lot of practical and methodical subjects here, makes mine feel kind of cosmetic and nonfunctional. Ari Gold
About a month away from finishing my first year of a Bachelor of Commerce/Bachelor of Laws (BCom/LLB) double degree program. Next year I start my major in Finance within the Bachelor of Commerce segment, which will hopefully be done by my fourth year (the double degree itself takes five years). Still haven't nailed down my career plans fully, but hopefully at the end I'll have the option of taking up an articled clerkship and becoming a registered lawyer, or pursuing a career within investment or merchant banking. I also am keen on doing an MBA in the future, preferably somewhere in the US. Edited September 16, 2012 by Stefche
fgcarva1
First year, looking to go into Public Policy and Political Science. Taking Economics, PoliSci, History. Maybe I'll change one of my Majors to Economics if I feel like it, IR is a backup if I don't pass in Economics. I wanna work with Politics, as an aide, so any of these seems like it could get me a job.
