I own too many games, like 80 NES games and 60 PS2 games for example, and would lose way to much money. And besides, It's just ONE game and I think most people could be patient enough to wait 1 or 2 months to get GTA V. It's not the end of the world.

Make it four months in advance and I'd happily trade in all my xbox 360 games.

 

-I don't own that many and the very few that are real keepers are easily bought back, might cost me 100 euros at most. That's 10 euros for each month I get to play it early, that's a f*cking bargain. Have fun with my copies of Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter and Condemned!

 

-Microsoft has lost me as a customer. I loved the old xbox, but the 360 is just sh*te. Backwards compatibility is not an issue and the box I have will probably break down within a year, as well rendering the games useless. I don't even expect the next xbox to feature any kind of backwards compatibility, except of course if you download the game again and charge another 30 euros to your creditcard. I'm actually pleasantly surprised by the Durango kit leak.. I half expected the 720 to just be a Kinect sensor attached to a slot for your creditcard. I'll never buy another console from them, and it's not about fanboy bullsh*t either, I'm platform-neutral by nature, it's just one of the worst customer experiences I've had with any electronics product... ever.

I would actually trade all PS3 games for it. I have about 40 old games I don't play any more sitting in a cupboard because I have completed them all. I only have 3 games sitting beside my PS3. Battlefield 3 / Grand Theft Auto IV: Episodes from Liberty City and Red Dead Redemption GOTY.

 

I hardly play BF3 anymore but I'll probably end up buying the premium edition when all the DLC is out. So no loss there. I've completed IV and only load it up to have a bit of fun. GTA V would obviously replace it. Red Dead Redemption...now that's the only game I'd miss. I've completed it but I'd just buy it again if I wanted to play it again. No big deal.

 

If I got GTA V earlier than everyone else then I'd be taking photos/videos of it while I play so I can post them on here and piss everyone off!

Well, my game collection does only count 3 games. Two of them I don't play frequently and the third one I really like, but I've already played it through a couple of times.

And since GTA V has to be fantastic, I'd say yes in my case.

 

If I had a collection of 10 games I like, I would patiently wait another 2 months.

also i think the calculators are faulty since i actually have 181 steam games and 170+ tf2 items so im guessing you would have to pay me double of those values shown

So, if we trade it all in will we get GTAV now, or 2 months before release? Because if it's 2 months before release, that's silly; we don't even know what the release date is.

 

However, I would actually say yes if getting GTAV now is the case, personally. Trust me, I adore my video games, but there are some upsides for me: I get a chance to start fresh and clean with my collection. I could sort out between the games that I really want to keep and the more expendable ones that I wouldn't mind keeping just as a memory. I get to have GTAV right now! Can you imagine? Knowing barely anything about it, going in blind... my God. It would be beautiful.

 

In summary, yes if I have GTAV now, and no if I get it 2 months before release.

Just a thought but what if GTA V was a total disappointment? Just wanna' read your reaction.

I hope it is already clear I have no doubt GTAV will be the greatest game yet conceived, but I'll pretend for a moment:

 

 

Hahaha classic sh*t. Man i don't think i ever heard them all , and i did play GTA IV to death. Does he say this sh*t randomly when instigating NPC's and during shootouts? Weird that i haven't heard them all yet then. Again...shows how decidated this developer is, having so many different things for the character to just say. Imagine if he was silent all the time....this is great.

How much do you think one video game costs? I'd trade it for a few games I have no interest in playing anymore, but to give up my huge collection that I've been working on since the late 90s for one game is f*cking idiotic.
