sundeep2k9
I think that since they always add a type of hip hop it will appear in gta v definetly. in IV classics 101 was alrite but the best ive liked is radio los santos and i would love to see it come back with maybe same songs or an update for more. maybe a radio called e.g. westcoast.187 They should add songs like ''gin and juice'' by snoop dogg and all the other hits that dre has done. And maybe some tupac as there was only one tupac song in Sa comment below on your thoughts about having a radio station like this and what songs you want it to have btw my first ever topic
B Dawg
Straight up hell yea. IV was weak in Hip-Hop. A perfect song for SA fans: I still got love for Grove Street

Flight180Victm
I hope they don't shove rap songs down our throats, like they did in GTA IV. I hate rap.... I wish they would focus more on rock music.

Turbojohn
Only kind of hip hop I like, so, if there will be hip hop in game, it might as well be 90s west coast...
Lock n' Stock
I can see a station playing 90s west-coast hip-hop being in the game. Maybe they'll feature the song "California Love" by 2Pac.

str8outtaganton
The reason why they didnt feature too many 2pac songs was because SA was taking place in 92 and pac didnt really become mainstream till around 93 94 but im expecting alot more songs by pac in gtav
progaimz
THEY NEED to have California Love or To Live and Die in LA by Tupac.. Imagine listening to To Live and Die in LA while cruisin down the streets of LA And yeah the reason to why they only had one pac song in SA was because its in 1992 and at that time only 2Pacalypse Now was out.. tho they coulda had some more songs. Verdant
The GTA IV classic rap radio station didn't have the right mood for me. It was pretty disappointing how they didn't include 2pac, Eazy-E, N.W.A. etc. In my opinion, they should add in: - We Play Life- Easy-E - Boys N Tha Hood- Eazy-E - f*ck Friendz- 2pac -Trapped- 2pac -Changes- 2pac - 100 miles and running- N.W.A. - Friday- Ice Cube -How to survive in South Central- Ice Cube Pretty much the same artists as Radio Los Santos with other songs. For Modern hip hop they should have artists like Lil Eazy-E, Kendrick Lamar, Tech N9ne, Hopsin, OFWGKTA(Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill them All). Official General
I hope they don't shove rap songs down our throats, like they did in GTA IV. I hate rap.... I wish they would focus more on rock music. If you meant that, then.... What the f**k is your problem ?? You did read the OP's thread title right ? "Only click if you like this kind of music". That does not include you because you clearly don't like rap/hip hop music, so there is no reason to post your irrelevant and unwanted comment on here. Rockstar should not be focusing on just rock just for people like you - so just because you love rock music, Rockstar must specially cater for your own needs above everyone else's ? Don't be silly, the whole beauty of GTA soundtracks is that there is something for everyone. You shouldn't even be talking here in the first place, you can always leave ! On topic: They should definitely put a classic, 90s rap radio station in GTA V. The 90s West Coast rap stuff from Dr Dre, Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, NWA, MC Eiht, DJ Quik, etc. That would fit in very well with LA theme.

kid_SWAG
90's west coast rap would be cool a'f don't get me wrong, but from the looks of the trailer it looks like today's society so shouldn't the music be up to date?

Official General
Rap today sucks so they better not add a modern day rap station in the game. GTA V needs a modern-day rap radio station, Rockstar can always carefully choose the best ones, and they don't all have to very recent rap songs. For instance, they can include the good songs by West Coast rappers made anywhere between 2001 to 2012. A modern-day West Coast rap radio station in V can look like this : Hate Or Love It by The Game ft 50 Cent Gangsta's Life by Nipsey Hussle ft Snoop Dogg Pop It Like It's Hot by Snoop Dogg ft Pharrell Vato by Snoop Dogg & B-Real (of Cypress Hill) One Blood by The Game ft Junior Reid Rack City by Tyga Yonkers by Tyler The Creator Buzzin' by Mann ft 50 Cent You're A Jerk by The New Boyz (I added this for variation, not everyone likes these guys). Pain by The Game ft Keisha Cole Let's Ride by Conejo (There must be at least one Mexican-American rapper. This song is so gangsta in a Chicano style, more variation) Get Your Walk On by Xzibit Rockstar can find ways to make it good. There needs to be a modern and classic rap radio station, just like in GTA IV, but much better. If any of you have the time, I'd appreciate if you could check out any of the songs you have not heard on this list and give me some feedback on whether you think they would suit a GTA V rap soundtrack.
