For me it would be stupid to fly a plane from the airport but only being allowed to land the plane at the same airport... If that makes any sense. I think that its a major POSSIBILITY that there is more that one airport, therefore POSSIBLY more than one Island... cal0006 Posted September 15, 2012 Share Posted September 15, 2012 Two possibilities: - There are indeed more islands that we don't know about - There is one airport and one main island, and bigger planes are not flyable. The Shamal, and Hydra, however, are available for flying around and things like that. Remember, GTA IV only had one airport but there were still aircraft. Doesn't rule out anything. It's just another feature to have on the map. Another place we can have a mission based at or another place we can mess around. Look at the one in GTAIV. You can't use it, it has no use whatsoever. Still, on MP it's the most used map. One airport would be fine. Lets face it, none of us go to the airport just to return back there with the plane/helicopter. Jump out. That's not Rockstar's way. If there is an airbus that is indeed flyable, there'll have to be at least 2 major airports. On the other hand, there have to be airbusses, they're necessary to represent the connection between Los Santos, Vice City, etc. On another note this is an interesting list of airports in LA. And i hope there is some sort of Military thing in there too. Los Santos in GTA V will be bigger than Los Santos in GTA SA. They can't fit a GTA in 1/10 city and 9/10 countryside. Well a second major airport would have to be some distance from the Los Santos one. It would be a bit pointless to take off in a Jumbo Jet, fly around & then land it in another airport a few miles away from where you took off. But seriously, I think there's more than one full city in the game. As I've already said in other thread, SF and LV are still possible.
