I want to see if the wanted level system has changed. So what I'll do is get into a fist fight with some cops and see if I can get K-9 units on me biggrin.gif

Story mode first. The story will have me exploring. It'll feel more realistic and challenging if I play the story without exploring the area.

Just start naturally with the opening missions and when I get a little tired of that, or when it feels like a natural break in the story, slowly begin exploring the hyper-detailed environment. I'm sure Rockstar will leave me in awe just like they did with IV's Liberty City. The level of detail still blows me away to this day. No other open world game comes close even four years later.

Unless they reveal that you can deal drugs, then I'm going to make a couple million dealing drugs right off the bat.

Then you get beat up by CJ & Ryder and have all your friends beat up aswell.

Ryders dead remember Cj killed him.

What's the first thing you plan on doing once you get your hands on the game ?

I want to explore the countryside and just take a walk/drive around before getting involved in the story

Last time I did story mode first was with IV. Let me tell you that it was the wrong way to go. Every other GTA game I had a look around the city and did somethings than move to the story. This works for me. biggrin.gif

It would take a miracle, but if I ever do get my hands on this game, I'll probably faint, hit my head, and go into a coma for the next ten years. Just in time for GTA VI!

Imma take the case, open it, put the game inside my computer's DVD drive thingy, install the game, start the game, and notice every single awesome thing, from the main menu down to the pavement textures. Then I'm going to go with the flow and do a couple of missions until I unlock stores and stuff, and then explore for a little.

Well.. since the game probably practically forces you to do one or two missions first, that's what everybody's gonna do first. But that's good, you'll get to know a bit about your character and the location. After that's done, I sort of role play my way around the game. Not like in stopping for every traffic light or not causing any mayhem (I do, a lot), but I try to do stuff in a logical order and mix it up like you would if it were real. It's not so much roleplaying as it's just going with the flow.

I'm not gonna look for the limits of the gameworld right away. So I'm not gonna get into 6 star chases or I'm not gonna immediately look for the biggest jet, or drive as far into the countryside as I can until the game gives me a reason to do so or I just stumble across it and it just sorta happens.

1. Take control of the character: Sprint, fighting combos, crouch, stealth positions, check messages/contacts on ingame phone if available.

2. Interacting with NPCs (especially a dog) to see how they react: fighting, bumping + any available interaction.

3. Explore immediate environment on foot while listening to sounds around. Not for long.

4. Find guns.

5. Do mission One to understand the character's psychology, voice, behaviour. Save the game.

6. Grab a bike, find more guns.

7. Get a chopper, fly around to see the whole map despite a 6 star wanted level upon crossing forbidden zones/locked islands.

8. Test the Police A.I (1 - 6 star) Shooting + Car chases.

9. Then switch occasionally from Story Mode / Free Roam (Exploring - Making Money) / Multiplayer (DeathMatch to hit Level 10)

10. Wait for GTA VI.

I am going to do some main missions first but sooner or later I will probably explore surrounding areas and maybe try out some different cars and bikes. Nowadays I usually start with the missions. That was the case in GTA IV and Chinatown Wars for example.

I'd start multiplayer and cruise on the highway by the beach. I enjoyed driving by the actual one north of L. A.

I'm worried that it's hard to figure out how to start the new games. It took me a long time to figure out how to register in GTA4.

First thing I'll do is probably doing the first mission, just as in GTA:IV. Or like in GTA:SA. getting a vehicle a drive to the place where you get a mission assigned.

You always get the first couple of introduction missions like drive from the airport to somewhere and then you meet your first mission giver and then you establish a safehouse. Then that NPC will tell you "Hey why don't you go and check out the sights".

After that i'm just doing whatever takes my mood.. If i see something that looks interesting i check it out.. Of course not forgetting to check out my new combat abilities on an unsuspecting old lady...

I will do the first like 3 or 4 missions so they kinda say what is going on. Then I will search for a semi truck with a trailer attached then explore the city in that!!!

Turn off the hud, minimap, and anything else. Then I just explore (and maybe run a few people over along the way).

Get as far along in the story as is required (if it is required) to unlock the countryside and mountains, then just go there and see what's up.
