uzi 9mm Posted September 14, 2012 Share Posted September 14, 2012 As soon as I'm given control of the character I'll free roam in the area near the safe house to get used to the surroundings, maybe get a wanted level to see how it goes, kill a few people, then begin the storymode. I'm really gonna study this map so I don't need to rely on the satnav like I did in IV, I actually can't wait to get my hands on the game, I've just got back into the mood after completing tlad and I'm gonna clock tbogt this week since I ain't completed those episodes yet, hopefully V brings loads of new sh*t to the table. Find the hidden weapon caches (pistol, SMG, vest) so I am not completely unarmed and ready for the story mode. 2. Explore the map (finding the hidden caches will be part of this). 3. Start the story. Colonel_Buttfuck Posted September 14, 2012 Share Posted September 14, 2012 What I usually do when I get a new open-world game like GTA, is save the game, and slowly start exploring the area around the safehouse, and later on cover bigger parts of the city. Not all the city at once though! I don't wanna feel like I've seen it all at the start of the game! Open-world games should make you feel like you always got something ahead of you! I'm assuming that the game is going to start you off in the city, so the countryside will be blocked off (that's also assuming that R* is going with the traditional method of unlocking the map through story progression).
