lll-H-I-M-lll
me personally im a bit annoyed at rockstars silence over this game as much as i do want it to be a surprise and not no every bit of information i would like to hear a bit more. has the silence affected your view of future games or current games like max payne i personally did not buy max payne basically because of the ignorance shown by rockstar over GTAV, could rockstars ignorance caused max payne to not sell as well? what are your views? DlZZEE
I'm not annoyed that they're not releasing more screenshots or a new trailer, I'm annoyed that they make us wait for indefinite amount of time, we don't know when to expect something and that drives me crazy! If we atleast would know a release date I would be much calmer. Edited September 14, 2012 by DizzeeXL

theworldfamous
yep perfectly happy here.. If you're personally affected by Rockstar not giving you the info you want, maybe you need to check your priorities, ya know? why is it okay for gamers to act like spoiled children all the time. Elyobo893
Nah not really. At the end of the day, it's a game. People who complain about the lack of info are obviously people with too much time on their hands and spend day in day out searching for GTA V info. Info will come when R* are ready which could be October and that's OK with me!

That's where Ubisoft is making the fatal flaw. They're releasing too much info. When you go to play AC3, you already know what to expect. With GTA V. No-one will know what the game will be like. This element of surprise makes GTA V appear more entising than AC3! 'Nuff Said!

Your point is exactly what I'm talking about with 'spoiled children'. Here is some news for you. Rockstar doesn't make games for you so called hardcore gaming types (more like whining pussies, if you ask me) who get mad when their wants are not catered to at every turn, and that's PRECISELY why they've gotten so succesful and PRECISELY why I (and many, many others) will always like GTA (or anything r* produces) over any other game. Hate to break your bubble, but that is the audience rockstar EXPRESSLY aims for, not the WoW/LoTR/Sci-Fi geek-crowd, with their games, their advertising, everything. So really, they don't give a sh*t about some whiny geeks not buying a game cause they have an overblown sense of entitlement when it comes to their games. Tomson21
i guess that i understand their "strategy" and i hate that feeling, when u know everything 'bout the game before it even comes out, but come on.. being totally out of our community and gave us a trailer and bunch of screens in a whole year? i'm dissapointed R*, that's not the way you should treat your fans.. I like what you said because it is true. People need to grow up and take their minds off GTA GTA GTA GTA GTA GTA for a little while No I'm not.. i'm just not normally a hardcore gamer and I don't hang with a lot of gamer friends and I am really, honestly, staggered by some of the attitudes some of these kids have... it's something you can only develop by not going out, not socializing and just staying in your proverbial mom's basement and play games with strangers over the internet. I know it's a cliche gamer insult, but it's true, in the real world you would get smacked for acting like that. Seriously.. I think in the near future those people are gonna cause problems for society when they bring that attitude to other things. I always say there's fans and then there's fanboys. Fanboys are the male equivalent of 12 yr old girls with a Bieber obsession. Difference is.. most girls get over that when they turn 14, real fanboyism starts at 14 and can last decades. You know what's really sad? Guys my age that still act like that, and somehow that's cool today, they're adults but still obsessed with reading Harry Potter books and watching Transformers movies.. they haven't replaced any of their childhood fancies with more adult interests that are, granted, harder to get into but ultimately much more satisfying. It also makes your gaming more enjoyable because you no longer get pissed off when they change the protagonists haircut or fingerless gloves don't make it in the game and enjoy the game for what is there.. JaggySnake
It's frustrating. I want to know the release date, I want to see the artwork, the protagonist(s), new features and maybe a bit about the story. I don't want so much that it ruins it and that's why Rockstar is being silent, they don't want to spoil it. They can release some more without spoiling it. We're guaranteed at least a new trailer and some more screens. All I really want is a release date though.

Bret_HartvsSting
Yes. I can no longer get to sleep at night, food doesn't taste like anything anymore, I mistrust people more than ever, I don't see any point in leaving my house. I now spend my days absorbed in a consuming shadow of gloom and misanthropy. Thanks, Rockstar.

I'm not sure why anyone would let it affect them on a personal level unless they're physchotic in desperate need of help. Here's an idea. Walk outside and get some fresh air instead of stressing about it. R* haven't done anything wrong as far as I'm concerned.
