How long and how fast will you camp out?

12am hits, fat GTA fans are lined up outside GameStop and BestBuy patiently waiting in line, sweating heavily due to the massive crowd.

 

Me? I already pre-loaded GTAV on steam by then and I'm starting it up, in my very own home.

I'd probably go later on the release date and hope that it isn't sold out yet. Since there's a big chance it will be, I would wait for a week or so and not going on any GTA forums.

Because intellectual property is different to physical property. Intellectual property is the game/book/song etc, not the media it is distributed on. By taking the intellectual property without the owner's permission, you are violating the property rights of the owner, and therefore stealing.

The pleasure of having an Internet connection also means being able to get it illegally. I'll download it like I did almost every other game I've ever played.

I stay between three gamestops all within 2 miles if they run out im pretty sure walmart will have it . Not camping out I have a family.

I'll have dinner, watch the news, put my kids in bed and, depending if my wife needs anything, drive to the gamestop (5 min ride) by 10:30 or 11pm. Then i'll go home, go to the bathroom and read/check the special edition stuff (if they have a special edition that is) while it is downloading to my 360 HDD and then i'll play it for a while.

No biggies.

 

When i was waiting for GTAIV we had some nutz that baked and brought a damned GTA inspired cake. I spent the rest of the line laughing my butt off.

 

I'm in denver by the way.

It depends on when (month) it is released. I'll try to get it at midnight if possible.

Never done a midnight launch but I may do one for GTA V. I usually go to the gym about 10:00 p.m. and work out a couple hours so I will probably go to the gym a little earlier then hit a midnight launch since I am already out. If I am not out at the time then more than likely I will go pick it up the next morning. I am not going to camp out for a long period of time in order to buy a game.

I won't camp out. I don't do that for games. If it was with my friends, then yeah I'll go ahead and do it just for fun. Overall, I'm just going to pre order it and pick it up on the day it hits the shelves..
