Its called the water discus and it will have 21 rooms and a spa, gym and a swimming pool. Heres the link What do you guys think? Is the project too ambitious? There are some that go underground to the water or let you look into a pool from your room underground or something but I believe this hotel is the first one that is completely "under the sea". Dubai almost went bankrupt for all of the silly over the top ugly architectural crap they've built and were saved by another country. They need to stop wasting money on crap like this or they'll be in big trouble again, maybe worse. I mean come on, BMW M5 police cars, weird looking tall buildings, give us a break. There are some that go underground to the water or let you look into a pool from your room underground or something but I believe this hotel is the first one that is completely "under the sea". Nope, Florida has one, and the wikipedia article links to one in Sweden, and one in Fiji. (edit: The one in Sweden isn't actually completely underwater, but the other two are, I'm pretty sure.) If something was to happen, let's say a ship was to runaway and smash into the hotel, well, where do we go?.. as there is no immediate Exits, do we have our own escape pods? Especially if it's above water as well.. as something of that force may damage the infrastructure, there is no telling. Nope, I'll stick to the dirt, grass and concrete. You lads have fun! Yep, Homer Simpson was the first to build an underwater house A few years after, a guy inspired by Homer built the Poseidon Undersea Resort,that was opened in 2009 near Fiji and currently it is the most spectacular underwater building. Otherwise everything you do is within the line of sight of all divers and aquatic life in the immediate vicinity. It's now become one of the best tourist destination in World. I really love Dubai Underwater Hotel project its amazing tourist spot.
