andreshurtado
Hi everyone. I'm new here. I've installed GTA:SA (some Cider version) on my Macbook Pro maybe 2 or 3 years ago and i've always played it with an old PSX controller vía USB with no problems at all but 2 weeks ago the program crashed and never worked again so I uninstalled it from my Mac and re-installed. The problem is that in this second try, the game runs perfectly but seems that it can't recognize the gamepad for some reason. I've uninstalled that Cider version and purchased it on the AppStore (that seems to be another kind of Cider or something like that) and it can't recognize the controller neither. My PSX gamepad works (i've tried it on a PC, i¡ve tried to remap keys on GamePad Companion and on Controllermate) but it simply don't works on GTA:SA. Any ideas or help? lil weasel
When the Game suddenly stops working correctly the Asprin is to Delete the (config file) titled gta_sa.set. Note this will remove som custom settings too. I've been against using console gamepads. Best to use a USB Generic (PC) gamepad like the Logitech Dual Action. I don't know if SAAC v1.0 San Andreas Advanced Control will work with the MAC.
andreshurtado
Thank you. I'll try to delete gta_sa.set. I coudn't run SAAC v1.0 on Mac or find a Mac version. If nothing works, I'll buy a Logitech controller, then.
