Although I did like CJ as a character in San Andreas, I wasn't a big fan of the whole gangbanger theme, but I wouldn't care if it returned in GTA. Official General Posted September 11, 2012 Share Posted September 11, 2012 (edited) I just want a protagonist that is a freelance, career criminal with no membership of any gang, and preferably of Hispanic (Mexican) descent like Caesar from San Andreas. I'd still want street gangs to significantly feature in GTA V, simply because most of the Los Angeles criminal underworld revolves around it in real life. I want the protagonist to have dealings and run-ins with both street gangs and other crime groups. But seriously, the game should revolve around the drug cartels and Hispanic gangs. They're in the spotlight right now, especially in LA, cause they've got sh*t wired and they do business bloody as hell. Just watch a documentary or even one episode of Breaking Bad. Another one is T.I., he's more of a family man now. You can only put up with that mentality for so long, before you grow up and realize that being a man and taking care of your family is more valuable and important than being a "gangsta" or "gangster" running the streets. Anyway if it is multiple protagonists i don't mind if one of them is a gangsta like CJ, but if i were to play a gangsta i would rather play someone like Caesar Vialpaldo. If their is 2 protagonists maybe the guy driving the Infernus in one of the screenshots is a gangsta? I don't really know, just came up with that off the spot. If you take a look at GTA Vice City, Tommy worked his way to the top he was basically an Italian gangsta. I want GTA V to be in that direction but you never know.
