Zero Toler4nce
Though it would be interesting to have underground sewage tunnels since IV had the underground subway tunnels... I'm not for sure certain if LA, Vegas, and San Fran has underground tunnels though... So mehh not sure.
Zirvlok
I gotta say that a sewer system would be a great addition. Granted it'd probably be very simple if they put it in, but it'd be neat. A good way to escape from police.
Ana Belial
It would be nice to have interactive manhole covers. With the option to press an action button and slide it and climb in.

JoeJoeMcTwist
Sewers in gta V? that idea stinks... ok bad joke. Sewers would be an awesome idea for alternate escape routes. It would be cool to spot an alligator or a clan of mutants in them
redx165
To be honest it sounds like a really good idea. But it seems more of a waste of space. I mean are you really going go down in the sewer all the time??? I know I won't.

saintsrow
To be honest it sounds like a really good idea. But it seems more of a waste of space. I mean are you really going go down in the sewer all the time??? I know I won't. I agree that it might be interesting a couple of times to use as an escape route. But it would be a travesty to use significant game design or rendering resources to support a sewer system that (i hope to god) would not be a key aspect of the game. In terms of all the elements of the urban environment that Rockstar has to decide whether to design or ignore in GTAV, I would put sewer system design about 30 spots behind important things like more enterable interiors, more variety in the structures and streets, or more countryside. So, to OP, I have to say, I hope this does not happen. On the other hand, I think some large major underground utility or sewer tunnels (that you can drive a motorcyle through) associated with urban drainage and flood control or the LA River, would be accurate and appropriate, as seen in GTA-SA, LA Noire, and real-life Los Angeles. More generally, I see we have descended yet another level in GTAV speculation / topic discussion due to the absence of actual game publicity info. Thanks, Rockstar. If we actually had some substantive information about the game that we could discuss, we wouldn't be here now. Mig10
i have read that in gta v there will also a intricate sewerage, now is it confirmed and this will possibly be explored or is only a rumor? like in AS2 that would be a plus but, i can only see it making part of some mission not through the whole town. LethalCrizzle
Arrr you kidding ? A sewer system would be cool.. I remember when rumors started going around about Rat man on GTA IV in the subway and me and my friends poured stupid amounts of hours online searching for something we knew which was probably fake. But it brought some great moments and replay value to the multiplayer and single player. The sewer system would be a whole new world, which could be used for missions and hideouts and easter eggs. It would be great.. Imagine online a group of 5 players are standing around their favoured cars talking and you pop up from a man whole and start blasting.. you run down he sewer and they chase you.. it would be fun ! unikunjerry
that would be cool, but it should be made as part of another universe that loads only when you enter it, to save the precious puny <1GB ram on the consoles.
Finn 7 five 11
I really liked the sewers in San Andreas, they weren't proper sewers but they were fine to ride motorbikes through. I wish there was a race that passed through there.

almostrodney
Sorry, but whoever told you that is talking sh*t. Conkers bad fur day! One of the best games ever made! Rip rareware OT. I felt that all the rubbish and sewerage in max Payne 2 added for that realistic grimy feel, I feel it can only add. As a side note though, for the love of god I hope we get some decent (any will do really) info since there is so little to talk about and wev gotten onto topics like this
theworldfamous
It doesn't have to be a fully realized sewer system.. but it's not Los Santos without those canals and it makes sense to have some tunnels and things, maybe connecting sewers to canals to the subway system. It's cool to use in a couple of missions and once you really get to know your way around the city they can provide nice shortcuts and escape routes. Add some crazies that inhabit the tunnels and try to cut your face off when you venture in there, some bats and rats and I'm a happy man.
jamieleng
@almostrodney I know. So many great British developers have gone down the crapper (probably devoured by The Great Mighty Poo) lately. OT: I wonder if the Los Santos river will flood at any point in the game?
