What if R* cancel GTA V?

R* will never completely cancel GTA V outright. I mean if they encounter a problem or something, they would just delay it and continue to (re)develop it. I don't believe R* could give up on such a big game.

If Rockstar had to stop production of their most successful title, and the most-successfull open-world shooter of all time - they would have a legitimate reason to do so. Therefore I would respect their decision because they'd have to be in a real state to do something like that. I trust R*, and if they aren't happy with their game that's fine. They know what they're doing more than we do so we have no right to criticise their decision.

THEN:

I won't hate Rockstar but I'd be extremely disappointed if they don't make Grand Theft Auto IV. I'm kinda confused by this marketing strategy of there's because it's clearly turning people away not really building up excitement. I'm sure they will release it though probably within a year.

I think it's already cancelled. All Rockstar seem to do is lose money. And this is the first time a GTA has been announced without a release date. So, I think they announced it to try and spur some growth in the stock. It didn't work. So now the game is cancelled, but they're scrambling trying to save the company, and that's why they trickle out info from time to time, just trying to buy themselves some time. But in the end, this game is cancelled and Rockstar is going bust.
