Sure, we'd appreciate them, but we're the fanatics, while most people at this point are probably only quasi interested. Rockstar know that people (and when I say people I don't mean a GTA fansite, I mean gamers everywhere) need some big news to be drawn in. They will also announce the release date at this time. I think release date i going to be around May 2013, sometime in spring 2013 anyway. Between now and November we will only get more screenshots. If you consider this then "a few weeks or so" could mean less than 3 weeks so new info this week too. Rockstars "time predictions" are very vague all the time and the "or so" part make it even more vague. It could mean 3 weeks, 1 month, 3 months, etc. Well, Rockstar released the last batch of screenshots 18 days ago. They can't be silence forever and I doubt that they released 10 screenshots within 5 days just to be silence for another few months. We won't just get a few screenshots and then nothing for a few weeks again. At this point the marketing campaign is like Red Dead Redemptions one so I think the next thing we'll get will be something big, not just screenshots. With "something big" I mean the second trailer and the release date announcement. I'm patient so I can wait. I just think we don't have to wait long again. I think most of the wait is over. The screenshots last month was the first info since november. Also to the above, Wiiu will not have GTA. Too many kids are on nintendo, rockstar originally decided to stay away from nintendo consoles. GTA 3 and VC were originally planned for gamecube but cancelled for that reason. Plus, no fanboyism intended BUT wiiu is probably not powerful enough. We all know nintendo, they are always 1 gen behind. While PS3 and 360 support 720 and 1080P, have a real online community and have hard drives, wii still supports only 420P, has a joke of an online community, and has only 2GB flash memory. (5GB if you have the non gamecube compatible family edition). Sure, the wii has AMAZING titles, but its a joke of a console. Some games actually DO look amazing, but you can see alot of them are dated. Hey, thats my opinion. Wiiu may actually turn out to be better then anyone ever imagined, which would be pretty cool actually. I loved my gamecube, hated my wii. Wiiu may change things. If wiiu gets better third party support like The Sims titles, Dead Space titles, Spyro and Crash titles, etc, ill buy it. I know they covered their backs by chucking the "..or so" in at the end - but surely we should be looking at any time around Friday or maybe a couple days after? Or maybe i'm just being optimistic... And the "fact" that R* still needs to gather some 600 million dollars by the end of March. Which is no problem if (when) the game is released for all major platforms. It can do that in a month, and then early 2013 release. But if the game is out in 2012, why would it generate "only" 600 million? Well because 360 platform has been cut due to the limitations of DVD / no mandatory installation. So basically just a small mindf*ck, that still has slight possibility to come true. But still it is an option that no-one really wants to think of. Both (well, all three, 360/ps3/WiiU) are quite at par when it comes to performance. WiiU actually will propably be best of the three since it's brand new, but still. PS3 weaknesses are the cell-processor and quite complicated architecture which leads rised developement costs. Oh, and the low reading speed of Blu-Ray. 360's main weaknesses are DVD and the lack of HDD in some models.
