Well, this theory has been brought up numerous times by various people. But this just seems too over-the-top. Just use the search function, browse the forums or whatever and please don't call us stupid and stop being such an ignorant prick. About "your" theory: 9/12 is a Wednesday so it's not a likely day of the week for info, but we'll see. At least this gives a reason to get excited and have our hopes cruched once more... I got another game to look forward to, Horizon, and they have awesome car reveals each work day which is great They've revealed some stuff, but not everything. I honestly find it silly that R* is being so damn secretive about a game that probably won't even be as great compared to how high our expectations became. The people at R* who writes stuff on the newsire are probably drip fed bits of nothing too. I don't think anyone will be really satisfied with news or information about the game until the game actually hits the shelves. R* has their own crap way of promotion now. Blast people with what they don't want, and say nothing about what they do. Keep what is in demand a secret, and spill it on the game nobody will buy anyway. 2012 was an interesting ride R*. Who would have thought we would be waiting a whole year for the second trailer to be released ? No wonder they kicked that marketing head out, he did a terrible job. Yes, us, GTA fans, will always be talking and speculating about the next GTA game, but that is just us. Keep in mind that R* needs to convince a large fanbase of other games and not GTA. The fact that GTA has a lot of fans does not neccessarily mean they will reach through the top with it unless they market the game properly so more people outside " GTA's normal reach " would buy it if they want to get $2-2.25 per share. Indeed indeed.. quite amazing you didn't notice the extensive discussion about it and the people flooding the topic to wait for the screens to be released at those times.. which they (sort of) did. The last batch was actually a couple minutes early. I don't think it means anything other than that it takes an average Rockstar employee about 12 minutes to come in, say hi to his coworkers, start up his computer, get a coffee and publish the release he prepared the night before. After this Friday the 3 week mark would be that day since the last batch of screens was released on August, Friday the 24th. IMO, 3 weeks would be "a few weeks". Even then tho, nothing for sure because R* added the dreadful "or so" at the end which gives them a bit of wiggle-room as to when they decide to release whatever it is. I think it was more than a couple of minutes, about an hour right? The "numerology crap" was proved false, but then as always, a new theory was brought up. This will go on until the game is released of course. @Adriaan: Pffft, use the search function bro, we already confirmed that the box art will be revealed in 3 years. If you consider this then "a few weeks or so" could mean less than 3 weeks so new info this week too. Rockstars "time predictions" are very vague all the time and the "or so" part make it even more vague. It could mean 3 weeks, 1 month, 3 months, etc. Well, Rockstar released the last batch of screenshots 18 days ago. They can't be silence forever and I doubt that they released 10 screenshots within 5 days just to be silence for another few months. We won't just get a few screenshots and then nothing for a few weeks again. At this point the marketing campaign is like Red Dead Redemptions one so I think the next thing we'll get will be something big, not just screenshots. With "something big" I mean the second trailer and the release date announcement. I'm patient so I can wait. I just think we don't have to wait long again. I think most of the wait is over.
