Emerpus
In the US? I'd wake up from that crazy nightmare and play GTA V.
ZZCOOL
if that actually happened then i would send money to a friend so he can send the money to rockstar games then i would download the game some other way
Dragonjack
In my opinion i think banning GTAV is higly "Unlikely" Just saying. But if did got banned in our country? Holy sh*t! Ill be pissed off as f*ck.

Hvitdverg
I'd order it online, or travel to the nearest country that sold the game and I would bring it home illegaly!
Smallo92
It wouldn't bother me at all. Ah the power of Ebay. I have a few games from the U.S and U.K so if it got banned/censored over here (surpise, surprise) I'd just get a copy from over seas. That's what I done with VC when it was censored The US & UK use two different formats so how can you import from both countries? :s Games are region free now. Also Australia should be fine, by the looks of things it's going to be a 2013 release and in January we will be getting our 18+ rating.
tinman187
If there is one country where I think it could be banned, it would be Australia. They seem to ban a lot of sh!t over there. Guess they can just port it from New Zealand If that would be the case. I think Mortal Kombat is still banned in Australia.
Ana Belial
Well I live in Canada, and going under the assumption in this hypothetical story that the US didnt have it banned I live about 20 minutes from the US border, and I own a mail box down in Washington If it was banned, I would merely have it shipped to that mail box, then go down and smuggle it back up here. urbanfire
wait about a week and buy it from a foreign country for probably 150 We do that anyway down here in Aus. Australian authorities and R* have a history of poor conduct with one another, so this isn't entirely far from reality. It could happen. Plus game prices here are ridiculously expensive. People in USA complain of $60 price tag, our prices are $120.00 aus (roughly $125 US dollars). Buying online is so much cheaper anyway, we can get brand new games from china for like $45 ebay. Dude, try JB Hifi. $80 for new releases. Still more expensive than America but it's considerably cheaper than other retail outlets.

So much cheaper than the Australian retail version which are like $120 as unbarnfire said. Non-retailers like JB are good. Too bad there isn't one close to me. The nearest is like 30 minutes away. It was only a few months ago that Microsoft sent a PAL games company an NTSC game & they didn't even bother opening it because it wouldn't work. How come you can still buy PAL/NTSC versions of consoles? On the British eBay, some consoles warn that they are the 'US version'. Congrats on your 18+ rating. It's about time your authorities caught up with the rest of the world (except for Germany, obviously).

I freaked out thinking it wouldn't work, but it does. BTW I have a 360S. You could be thinking of the older models which are region locked. As far as I know every PS3 is region free also. Algonquin Assassin
Would it be morally wrong to pirate it? Do whatever you like. I had pirated versions of GTA 1 and 2. I bet almost everyone here has pirated or bought a pirated game at some point. It's not like you're committing murder.

saintsrow
I would watch the GTAV gameplay walkthroughs on the internet, and determine if it is worth taking a 2-month (or so) trip to a free country that allows GTAV, so I could play it. Banning GTAV in countries with a major population of GTA gamers would create a whole new category of tourism -- GTAV cafes and GTAV hostels, renting mutliple seats to play the game 24/7, would spring up in the free countries. If it's banned in nearly all countries, then I guess "GTAV cruises" would become a new tourist business, where the GTAV games go online as soon as the ship is outside the international boundaries. In fact, if GTAV in banned in the US, I would try to set up a business using an out-of-service cargo ship to provide an offshore floating GTAV super-cafe with 2000+ consoles online, renting for $100 per day per seat.
