dkth
I ran the tool that checks the minimum requirements for my computer for GTA IV and the only thing that was running below the recommendations was my video card. So I have a GeForce 6150SE nForce 430, is buying a new and different video card the only thing I can do?

dansgas1000
thanks ! Perhaps look towards a GT 440.
Prometheus
thanks ! Perhaps look towards a GT 440. Why do you keep recommending that GPU? it's not worth it. HD 7750 would be a lot better in terms of price/performance ratio, no?

unc13bud
afaik hd7750 perform (in gta 4) like hd 4850, which is okay for gta 4, but definitely not eflc tbogt with dual core (i had 125w x2 6000+ with hd 4850). he already said he have dual core athlon 250, but didn't say what graphics settings or resolution he wanted. original poster, if you upgraded to tri or quad core athlon 3 Ghz and gt 640, you could play @1920x1200 with medium/high settings amid mild graphics tweaking edit: plus there is gt 440 with 144 shaders also http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16814551002 Edited September 13, 2012 by unc13bud
