I don't like souped up rides, they look ridiculous. If they could manage something like Forza, with tangible perfomance upgrades, that would be great but I don't think that's plausible in a game this scale. I couldn't care less about making my car look like a cross between space debris and a piece of candy. It's not cool to have sponsor brand stickers on your car if you're not actually sponsored. That's like white guys wearing doo-rags. tractor trailers? anyone else want to be able to actually hook up to trailers? it could create a huge gameplay element, transport illegal goods, or transport some of your cars on a car trailer. Yeah, there was an import/export business in Shoreside Vale (?) where you could drop off specific cars for a cash price, and then spawn them afterwards. You speak a lot of sense - it's very refreshing. I agree with everything you said. Saints Row The Third's vehicle customization was quite in-depth, but it was almost impossible to make anything look good. Too over the top and silly. Noire, a game where your car has an icon that represents where you left it and doesn't disappear. Brought to you by R*. Now seeing as the GTA IV already differentiates between cars used in missions from cars used in free roam (if you watch the statistics closely, cars you steal during a mission do not increase your stolen car count) I think if R* brings this system to GTA V we have a winner.
