Features that should be taken from other R* Games

What features from other R* games would you like to see implemented in GTA V?

-The ability to hide, but only to grey out the stars, not erase them. Like in Bully.

-Dual wielding from Max Payne 3 and San Andreas

-Adrenaline pills. It would bee cool to see the bullets fly past you.

-Kidnapping. Putting civilians in positions where they can't fight back, like in the trunk of a car. Similar to RDR and Sleeping Dogs.

-Having a "bounty". Like hit squads from GTA LCS or being able to bribe cops to have them erase it.

-More original scores aside from the theme song. Bully had an amazing soundtrack.

-Drug dealing from Chinatown Wars. It was a great way of making quick money and was very strategic.

Weapon wheel from Red Dead Redemption.

YES. I've been saying this for months. It NEEDS that. It takes too long to scroll through the weapons, and even when you get to the weapon it takes a second to load it. In RDR, it's lightning fast.

What features from other R* games would you like to see implemented in GTA V?

Possibly missing some but I'll say the ones off the top of my head.

Slow Motion Bullet cam(Max Payne) - Maybe not a frequent as Max Payne has them but it would be nice is a special kill was in slow motion. I loved this in Max Payne 3 and would like it here.

Animals(Red Dead Redemption) - Not sure if this is a feature as such but I'd like animals in GTA V. From the trailer it seems we will have dogs at least but I'm talking about Attack Dogs, Cats and so on that you would find in a real neighbourhood.

Human Shields (Max Payne 3) - I'd like to be able to use a gang member or pedestrian as a Human shield. Maybe cops will stop firing when you grab a pedestrian as a hostage.

Challenge List (Red Dead Redemption, Max Payne 3) - Online and offline I'd like a checklist that you have to do various challenges to complete. Picking flowers in Red Dead Redemption, although sounding not fun at all provided a lot of fun for me.

That's all I have for now.

Drug dealing from China Town wars, that was the sh*t. Also businesses, similar to VCS, maybe more complex if we're playing as Ned Luke and he appears to be a business man.

Instant kills with animation when you get close to an enemy similar to RDR.

No, no, no way. Often I'd have a bunch of cheats on and I'd be experimenting to see how many bullets right in the ass an NPC could take, but then I'd get to close and my guy would do that stupid insta kill animation and ruin the whole thing. Hell no.

I also don't want the bounty system. RDR didn't have cars and such, and so you'd have to deliberately piss off the cops to get them after you, and even then bounties wouldn't get that high. Now, imagine what kind of a bounty you'd get in GTA after driving down the sidewalk once. Thousands every time? You'd have to use the bounty down cheat at least 67 times every time you went on one rampage. So, no, I don't think bounty would work here.

The lasso from RDR would be neat, dragging people behind a motorcycle, hogtie put on train tracks etc. Also car modification from midnight club

weapon wheel from max payne - can't put an assault rifle in your pocket type of deal - it would be limited but it kept things organized and tidy

remote explosives - from bogt

looting bodies instead of money flying all over the place

-Dual wielding from Max Payne 3 and San Andreas

As long as I'm not force to dual wield. I hated that about SA. But you are missing out on Weapon wheel from RDR. That is so much better than the original and IV's way.

me too. I like dual wielding when its an option but once your forced to do it all the time it becomes somewhat of an eye soar. It'd be cool to have as a feature though like Max Payne. Hope they take that game's shooting mechanics and somehow implement them into V. I don't expect any shootdodging or slowmo, just not that type of game

Why would you ruin the fun???? I don't want to be limited to 3 guns but not have all guns. That's why I like how GTA does their guns. RDR had too many while Max Payne didn't have enough.

yeah man I hear you. Max Payne was a bit limited - I just didn't like the 'one gun from each' system from past GTAs. Hopefully they do something realistic and believable but also not limit the player too much. But I still think big weapons should stay exposed. But who knows, whatever way they do it, it'll be for good reason and I'll still enjoy the game

Wow, most people want RDR in a future city.

Remember when people were like "RDR is just cowboy GTA".

Now they want GTA to be Modern RDR. suicidal.gif

There will be no Lasso. Thats just rediculous.

We need the stuff that made previous GTA's great.

We shouldn't be able to get adrenaline pills, (there is no such drug in the world I think) but adrenaline shots that harm your health by 5%. Same with other drugs.

RDR had too many guns? I think it had a really balanced and natural number of guns available. They had different weapon classes with multiple weapons per class. How is that too many?

Algonquin Assassin

I'd like to carry a pistol in one hand and a shotgun in the other (for example) like MP3. Also I'd like to see something like Dead Eye and Bullet Time.

I don't think MP3 had human shields. Well, as far I remember.

In the last gen GTA's they had adrenaline pills. They could bring them back and incorporate them into weapon play. Take an adrenaline pill for slow motion.
