Choco Taco
I'm okay with waiting another 6 months. Anything over that and I'll be a little upset.
Msharingan
The question 'Can you go on for another year' is not a great one. What else would I do? Off myself? Not buy GTA V because of having to wait too long? There are enough titles, along with information about new consoles, that would cloud a wait for GTA V if it took a year from now. Cyfa
It wouldn't make sense. How you gonna make a trailer and then wait 2 years. It just wouldn't make sense and people would be enraged.

Snake Without a Tongue
I'll wait however long it takes, but I'm already pissed at the marketing scheme. "Oh look, here's something you want!" "Yay! I want it!" "What's that, homo?"
Rpg_
Yep. Assassin's Creed III. Medal of Honor: Warfighter. Far Cry 3. Assassin's Creed III: Liberation. Call of Duty: Black Ops II. Playstation All-Stars. The Last of Us. Crysis 3. The Wii U. (Plenty more I am sure I have forgotten) But no, we will see GTA V out before May 2013. As I keep saying, Rockstar would be taking a serious risk if they release the game after next years E3. I'll be thinking about Watch Dogs for the PS4 instead of GTA V. I'll probably be focused on the possibilities of the next-gen of consoles. I'll still get GTA V, but it would loose some attention. It's sad that you're buying or yet, playing, most of those games, they're sh*t. MoH: Warfighter - Another lame war FPS Far Cry 3 - Looks boring CoD: Black Ops II - Stupid rehash, this series should be killed Playstation All-Stars - Game had potential until they decided not to add most of the characters people wanted Crysis 3 - Boring rehash

TrialzGTAS
All of these games are just terrible. I love COD but it needs to have a rest. A long 3 year hiatus to think about new things. Anyone think that something special is going to happen next month besides those new screenshots?

MoH: Warfighter - Another lame war FPS Far Cry 3 - Looks boring CoD: Black Ops II - Stupid rehash, this series should be killed Playstation All-Stars - Game had potential until they decided not to add most of the characters people wanted Crysis 3 - Boring rehash Medal of Honor: Warfighter - The sequel to a game that gave perspective to the sacrifices made during war. I enjoyed the campaign of the first one. Far Cry 3 - A sandbox shooting game with a colourful aesthetic, a map editor for multiplayer and split-screen co-op. Call of Duty: Black Ops II - ... the series has always had fun shooters. Every game is a rehash to a degree (you didn't make that claim towards Assassin's Creed III, although it is similar in the amount of features it has changed), but if the core formula is fun I see no problem with it. Admittedly I didn't play MW3 but I hold not resentment towards a series. They are games. If they can provide entertainment, and can justify their cost, I see no reason not to buy them. Playstation All-Stars - Oh, you meant characters you wanted? That makes it a bad game, right? It is a fighter with character, that I have heard only positive things about from people who have played it. Crysis 3 - A slightly more linear sandbox game, but still with options. The sequel to a game I really enjoyed the campaign off, and that game was a sequel to a game I really enjoyed the campaign of. A good series, and potentially Crytek's final real-AAA game. They are going free to play after this, so Crysis 3 should be a good sned-off You just strike me as someone who doesn't like first-person shooters, which is fine. But you can't criticise a genre you don't understand. Maybe your content playing Angry Birds all next year, I dunno.

ShotGunRain
Maybe if they gave us information every week until release of the game and give out free blow jobs to people who are going to buy the game on the first day. GarrowsKai
I'd rather not wait another year but there are a lot of really good games coming out so it'll be OK really. AC III Last Of Us CoD: BO2 (say what you want, I like the CoD games, get over it) Hitman Tomb Raider, the new one looks like it's going to be good And no doubt a fair few more, so there's no real shortage of games for the next 6 from November at least. Don't be a d**k and call him a noob for thinking CoD is fun, in your opinion it's not good and fair enough, you don't have to criticise others so much for liking it. And for the record, I've played Battlefield 3 and to me there is almost no difference between that and CoD and in terms of single player story it is seriously lacking! All CoD games since 4 have had a pretty solid plot and story for single player, which makes it fun to actually play and replay the single player part (you know, the bit that actually takes time, effort and money to create, unlike the majority of multiplayer). Staten
Medal of Honor: Warfighter - The sequel to a game that gave perspective to the sacrifices made during war. I enjoyed the campaign of the first one. I liked the SP campaign in the original too, especially how the stories mixed in with each other, though it was glitchy in parts, and much too short. OT: I think I could wait a year, depending on what new games come out in 2013.
Hvitdverg
No, I can't go another year. I'll go until Q2 the latest of 2013. After Q2 2013, i'll be expecting to hear about the release of PS4 and 720, which means I'll be moving onto the next gen of consoles! still be buying current gen games, but hopefully busy with awesome next gen games. OFF TOPIC: to the person above, trying to act like a better person because hes playing BF3. Let me tell you. I've played all Battlefield games, all call of duty games and I'm still more hyped about Black Ops two than I was when Battlefield 3 released. I played the sh*t out of Battlefield 3 for about 5 months, and then had a break and went back to call of duty. Don't call other shooters sh*tty shooters. It's all about preferences. http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf3/user/Hvitdverg/ I've touched upon all shooters since the mid 90's, and I find call of duty too be a fun game, even though it's getting "old". If you have anything negative to say about Call Of Duty, keep it too yourself. I understand why people don't like the game, I have my dislikes about the series aswell, but there are alot of things I'm going to enjoy in BO2. Such as zombies, and pwning 90% of all players I come across on the PS3. Edited September 9, 2012 by Hvitdverg
