Dr. John
Can you tell me more about your PC Specs? Also, from where you got the game. After seeing that "bam" word all in red and large font, I am thinking that you are having a serious issue. The in-game Video editor is crap, IMO. It just helps us in shifting the angles of the camera. So, you may want to try something like FRAPS (though they are a BIG FPS Eater.)

mkey82
You're probably using a pirated copy and as a matter of the principle, we don't support non-legit game copies. As for your problem, if you have only 256MB GPU, that most probably has something to do with your problem. Cards in this day and age don't come with anything less then 512MB so you have a rather old one, most probably.

I know it's difficult in some countries to get real, legit versions of games. But either way, even if you did pay money for a cracked version, it doesn't mean it's legit. Dr. John
See this pic: This is GTA IV Original PC Box. If you don't have any of the parts like given in the picture, then you have a pirated version. Don't lie to us, we will help you when you buy a Original copy (How, if you ask, well, try Steam or Online Shopping. They are the best choice right now). EvilDog77
Your problem is not related to piracy in any way. It's just a limitation of the video editor and there's nothing that can be done about it unfortunately. The camera must always be within a certain radius of the player. One thing I've noticed is that if the camera is at max distance from you, it cannot be turned away from you. One way you could work around the range problem is to fiddle around with the FOV setting. It gives the illusion of distance but you'll have a slight fish-eye effect. You can use keyframes to blend between normal and high FOV settings if you need to. So does that means, your GTA 4 set is pirated? If that's in the case, then it might be the root cause but still, others can also be reasonable. I expect that this issue will be resolved once you buy a legit game.
