GTA IV lag when I have good FPS?

It works, but you have to set the Cross-Fire rendering to AFR (Alternate Frame Rate), or else you get the stuttering even in patch 1.0.4.

i am going to try this, that is some good info if it really works... i was wondering why this kid and his dad were enjoying tbogt like this

but i bust my gta iv/eflc installation by adding an hd 6450 - even after i removed the card, it now runs like mud and no tweaking will fix it. haven't did a os/game reinstall or driver clean though since i added the card
