Introduction

Rockstar Games has been working on GTAV for a very long time- as long as we have been waiting for it. With expecations high, Rockstar needs to play this card very carefully. This could be a reason why Rockstar isn't releasing much info. Thankfully, this thread will provide a little 'Fan News' - something never before seen here at the forums. I've created a few predictions on the direction Rockstar is heading - based on previous games and my GTA experience. What entails a game that will be the last of this generation? What should we expect? What will be different?

This thread should provide a start to an answer. Here is a complete breakdown of everything we should expect to see in GTAV, from weapons, to music, to cars, to gameplay!

Note: Most of these ideas are not originial. They've all been taken from previous Rockstar games (like Manhunt, Bully, and Red Dead Redemption). So, these ideas are all plausible for GTAV.

I will expand on this section once Rockstar releases more information about the game, specifically the environments. Everything here is currently just speculation. (I'm not wasting hours and hours on a map that's wrong. I'm waiting to hear what the game will entail.) cool.gif

Introduction

GTAV will have the most diverse and complex map we've ever seen. The setting will not be one single city, like IV, but instead a vast world of multiple enviroments: Desert, Forest, Farmland, California Hills, and the city. This is essential - because one city won't be enough. To give an illusion of a massive map, Rockstar has to allow players to escape an enviroment and explore another. Red Dead Redemption captured this perfectly.

The Importance of Multiple Enviroments

Environments are important. The reason Liberty City felt so bland is because we felt like we were playing in the same place. GTAV will be different. It will have multiple enviroments: a forest, a city, farmland, and possibly a desert. Even better, these enviroments will have sub-enviroments withing their enviroments! For example, some parts within the city will feel dangerous, especially at night, while other parts will feel safe and rich. Los Angeles, for example, might have beaches, a zoo, malls, nightclubs, police stations, ghettos, ports, parks, an airport, museams, a theme park, a lake.. you get the point. And even though these enviroments are so different from eachother, we will still need to escape from the city. This increases playability- which is why I feel this will be the greatest Grand Theft Auto we have ever played.

Los Santos

Los Sants will be the most detailed city we have seen yet. Liberty City was diverse in terms of people- but Los Santos is diverse in terms of people and places. The environments just within the city will be something we have never experienced before. Beaches, parks, ghettos, malls, nightclubs, and glamour will all finally be in one city. The great news is- GTAV will be much more than just Los Santos. Even though we won't feel like we need to, we can escape from these environments.

National Park

The National Park will be my favorite enviroment. There's a lot of mystery in the wilderness, and what a place to use your imagination. And I don't care what you say - we're getting wildlife. Animals were in Red Dead Redemption, so there's no reason not to include them. The forest would seem more alive with animals, and less realistic without them.

To be continued...

I do plan to give a detailed breakdown of every enviroment Rockstar will include in their new San Andreas, including pictures, so stay tuned. cool.gif

Introduction

The radio stations in GTA are more than just a collection of music. The radio stations are a soundtrack, created to help tell a story. GTA4's story revolved around Niko, an immigrant who had traveled to a new, unfamiliar country in search of the American Dream. Thus, all the music had to feel 'new' and 'unfamiliar' in order for players to fit in Niko shoes. Also, the soundtrack was very culturally diverse - covering a wide range of music from stations like IF99 (International Funk) to San Juan Sounds (Latin Pop) to Vladivostok (Eastern European Music).

In summary, what I'm basically saying is the soundtrack for IV revolved around Niko and other characters. San Juan Sounds (for Luis and his friends), Tuff Gong (for Little Jacob), Vladivostok FM (for the Russians). The soundtrack was directly connected to the story. Likewise, San Andreas had the same idea. There were two rap stations to compliment the ghetto environment. The soundtrack is more than just songs, it is theme music.

GTAV on the other hand, will have a much more vibrant and colorful soundtrack. Right now, the protagonist is up to debate, but we know we're at least playing an older Caucasian American. Thus, we should be getting more familiar American music that revolves around his character (oldies). Los Santos is also a brighter city than Liberty City - so I expect to see brighter music.

Here is a collection of music that I think will help tell GTAV's story. Some stations have more than one song, only to help capture the feel/mood. Enjoy!

Station Details

("Ogdens' Nut Gone Flake") FM: As you're well aware, Ogden Nut Gone Flake has been confirmed to be in the trailer. Therefore, we're going to get a radio station including that song - most likely Psychedelic rock. However - we really don't know. If a psychedelic rock station were to be included, then it would replace my predicted 'classic folk rock' station.

(KOST) The Vine FM: (replacing K-Rose) Rockstar has had two classic rock stations in a row - and I'm not complaining. However I think they'll take a different approach in V, leaning towards 60s and 70s folk rock. Bands like: Crosby, Stills & Nash, The Black Crowes, Captain Beyond, etc..) This will be the perfect station for those long drives through the pines (a.k.a. National Forests). cool.gif

(KDIN) Maraca 680 AM: As the setting is Los Santos, there is no doubt in my mind there will be some Latin taste. I predict they go with 'Bossa Nova', as it's never been done in a GTA game.

(KDLD) Pulse Radio 98.3: (hosted by Lenny Kravitz) There's usually an Alternative station in GTAV. I based this station off of early 2000's British alternative rock and American funk rock. There have been a lot of great hits between 2000-2003. We've all forgotten about them, but maybe Rockstar can bring them back!

(KEBN) COCO 90.3 FM: Rockstar has never had a station like this before. CoCo FM would provide GTAV with fun, up-beat reggae music. Los Santos is going to be surrounded by beaches, with a possibility of Malibu and long coast drives. So, why not? If they're going to include a reggae station, they should try to capture this tropical, up-beat reggae feel. (Rockstar could also include a Soca station instead- and get the same 'upbeat/tropical' feel.)

(KFRT) Relapse FM: I doubt we will get two hip-hop/rap stations, as San Andreas had, because I feel like V is going to tell a different story than San Andreas. However, there's no doubt the ghetto vibe will exist and a hip-hop/rap station is essential. Plus, hip-hop & rap are still popular genres. This most likely will be one of the top stations in the game.

(KLOS) ROOTS 103 FM: To capture the feel of ghettos, I do think there needs to be a depressing, old-feel reggae station. How about 1960s reggae?

K-SRF 1030 AM: KSRF AM (referred as K-SURF during broadcast) would provide GTAV with an old, "good times" vibe, consisting of 1950s/1960s California surf rock and early-pop oldies. If Ned Luke is around his early or mid 40s, then 'the Oldies' for him would be around this time.

(KTWV) JIVE 94.7 FM: JIVE 94.7 FM is a smooth Jazz, cool Jazz, and West Coast jazz station. GTA4 had a few Jazz stations, but JIVE 94.7 FM is nothing like JNR or Fushion FM. GTAV will need an upbeat-instrumental station. Thus I think another Jazz station is quiet possible, especially since this style of jazz has roots in California.

(KNSN) PINCH 101.5 FM: PINCH 101.5 FM satisfies the need for a electronic, dance station. This is the music of the current generation, and this genre exploded much after the release of IV in 2008. You can't have a 2013 Los Angeles without this type of music.

(KKLA) OCEAN FM: Ocean FM is here for all the Vice City fans. Although GTAV is set in Los Angeles, there are plenty of places here to capture the essence of an 80s Miami. Malibu? Venice Beach? Rockstar may combine their classic rock/soft rock station, but there is definitely an option.

(KXOL) DAZZ 95.5 FM: DAZZ 95.5 satisfies my need for a good funk station. Rockstar needs to bring the funk back- and I'm not talking about International Funk! I'm talking about 'Dazz' funk: Billy Preston, Con Funk Shun, The Bar-Kays,... bring back the grooves.

(KFAD) Swing 103.3 FM: Big Band music hasn't been featured in any GTA game. Since we're playing an older protagonist, now is probably the only opportunity for this genre to make it into a GTA game. Plus, besides Los Santos and Liberty City, I really can't see this genre being played in another other city. Plus, it might be a little tip-of-the-hat to Rockstar's previous work, LA NOIRE.

(KBBS) RAIN 96.1 FM: After the success of Self–Actualization FM and The Journey, I doubt Rockstar would include another ambient station. However, there must be a station specifically for Tw@ internet cafes, shopping centers, elevators, and hotel lobbies across the city. (*Not included due to image contraint.)

Final Comment

Just a second reminder, these songs are just examples to help paint a picture of what each station would look and sound. I may include more, but I'll never pick as good as songs as Rockstar.

For those want metal and country - I didn't include those genres because they don't fit well in a present-day Los Santos. Rockstar has already covered old country, and I highly doubt they'd create a current country station in Los Santos. They'll save that for Vice City. biggrin.gif

As for more rap & hiphop, I think one station is enough - it will just have a large playlist. Dubstep can fit in with PINCH.

Introduction

Breaking the law in Grand Theft Auto was not as fun as it use to be. There was no excitement. It should be thrilling to run from the police, shouldn't it? You should feel nervous, as if you have something to lose. This summarizes everything that needs to be fixed with the Wanted Level System.

user posted image

Footchases:

I cannot stress this enough - I really think there is going to be a major change in the Wanted Level System. Mainly, there is going to be a change in the first star. In GTAV (for 1 star) cops are going to run and tackle you to the ground. They're going to handcuff you. They will approach you normally, like IV, but if you run - they will run too, queuing an epic foot chase. This one, simple feature will change the game... forever. Every crime broken will feel like a crime. The police will be considered a legitimate enemy. Thrill, fear, anticipation, skill, stealth, and stress will all be introudced to the game for the first time. Finally, the cops will be feared and seen as a threat - finally making the game fun.

Every 1 star wanted level should start with a chase. You can try to run on foot or jump in a car and speed away. Running from the police will increase your warrent, but should make it easier to get away. Overall, I think players will have to think about the crimes they commit, before they commit them. (Are there any police around? Are there witnesses?). If the coast is clear, then players should act. It will create a more strategy based game, realism, and best of all - a thrilling experience.

Predictions:

• Police will hancuff you during 1 star wanted levels. (The handcuffs will work similar to the mission in Red Dead, Cowards Die Many Times.)

• To hancuff you - the police will now run, chase, and tackle you to the ground. (This will create a new feature of gameplay - footchases.)

• Players are allowed to surrender during any Wanted Level, even on 6 stars.

• Cops will search for you, meaing you can sneak past them without them knowing.

• Players are now allowed to hide - such as in alleyways, stores, behind walls, etc. Cops will SEARCH for you. (Note: players still need to escape the radius to lose their wanted level. The longer you stay in the radius, the more police arrive and it will become more difficult to escape without getting caught!)

•Cops do not show up on the radar, unless they fire a weapon. (similar to Hardcore Mode in Red Dead Redemption) Riding in a police car will show all police within the area.

• New HUD: Blinking Red & Blue (same as IV) - Cops know your exact location. Blue - Cops are cautious and search the area.

• A record of your warrents (total fines) will be tallied and noted on the top of the screen and/or start menu - but only for the crimes you are caught doing by the police & bystaning pedestrians.

Stamina

Here's an easy, unique feature that can make GTAV fun: Giving cops stamina. In GTAIV, all the cops were same speed... why? There's nothing to be afraid of! No real enemies. When they finally catch up to you, technically you're "caught", but how many people let themselves get arrested? If you did, you're an idiot, because dying or killing yourself doesn't have any major consequences.

In GTAV, I predict cops will attempt to arrest you, instead of randomly shooting you after running away for a long time. In GTAV, they're going to tackle you to the ground (like Bully). To add to this, I think in GTAV, most cops will have a higher stamina than players. At first, players will have a hard time outrunning the police. (Fat cops, however, will still be slow, allowing players to 'pick their battles.') Eventually, players will have to work on their stamina to become faster, just like San Andreas. Or, if the multiple protagonist theory is correct, individual characters will have different speeds.

Every GTA has had an improvment on the Wanted Level System; and I predict this is the improvement. Footchases need to be in Grand Theft Auto franchise; it's a crime game! 70% of the show COPS is people running away from the police. Footchases have never been in GTA like this; it would add thrill and excitement. Minecraft had many enemies in the game, which made the game fun. However IV really only had one... and they sucked at being enemies.

Witnesses

Witnesses (noted with an eye icon) work just like Red Dead Redemption. If there are no witnesses, you will NOT get a wanted level or a warrant. Also, not all witnesses call the police, especially in the ghettos. Killing a witness may result in a witness chain (RDR Wiki), in which the witness' murder(s) will incur another witness, forming a line of witnesses that will eventually stretch to a law officer. You must kill them all to protect yourself.

• Car alarms alert witnesses.

• You WONT get a wanted level if there are no witnesses around.

Bait Cars

At some point in the game, you may be a victim of a bait car. (You'll usually be

able to recognize them because the driver door will be open.) A bait car is the newest strategy of the LSPD. After stealing a bait car, the car shuts down and the criminal will be notified of the situation. Immediately, you have a three star wanted level, and you'll get to watch yourself become surrounded by police officers. After the show, you're busted. (Note: this is a rare occurance and will only happen once during the game.)

Heat

Heat would be a new feature in the game that forces players to think before they steal a car. Heat would only appear for stolen vehicles that are witnessed. It will be represented by a glowing yellow circle around your player icon in the HUD. This will most likely deter players from stealing cars in the middle of the street in broad daylight.

Common concerns:

•Heat will NOT appear everytime you steal a car - only if there are witnesses within the area.

•Heat will NOT cause an immediate wanted level, but if a cop sees you, you will get a red radius.

Warrants

Every time you escape a wantel level, you will create warrants (cash penalties). You do NOT have to pay off your bounty like in Red Dead Redemption and the police do NOT randomly search for you. Instead, when you are caught by the police, you'll just have to pay your fines.

Kidnapping

Kidnapping was introduced in Red Dead Redemption. Players should be able to store pedestrians in trunks and drive them off cliffs. Here's how I think it would work:

• Beating up pedestrians doesn't kill them. It only knocks them out, same with other melee weapons.

• Tasers could be a new weapon that knocks people to the ground.

• Players would have the ability to pick up dead bodies.

• Also, they'd have the ability to store them the trunks of their car.

The enemies of Minecraft are fearful, because they bring chaos and misfortune to the player.

Fear

When a game becomes easy, it becomes boring. Therefore, I think the biggest change in the Wanted Level System will be the creation of fear. The fear of getting caught will overwhelm players and make the game much more thrilling. Stealing a car, fighting off cops, robbing homes, dealing drugs will never feel the same way again - it will feel much more challenging and for the first time - entertaining. I think the AI will match and compare with Metal Gear Solid, Manhunt, or at least Red Dead Redemption. Players will find it very difficult to escape a four star wanted level. It will feel like chaos - smoke bombs, spike strips, spotlights, tactics, etc. This new feature, fear, will be esstential for gameplay. Fear needs to be implemented into the Wanted Level System. After all - this is what GTA is all about!

Introduction

Besides the Wanted Level System, this is the second biggest change I think we'll see in GTAV. This section is about about “money” – and I think this is what GTA5 will definitely need if it wants to stay on top. There needs to be a working economy, very similar to Red Dead Redemption.

user posted image

Predictions

• Prices in GTAV will match present-day costs for goods and services, from soda, to clothing, to cocaine, to mansions. (no more $100 ringtones)

• The story will either be "rags to riches" or "riches, to rags, to riches"

• Taxi missions will make a return, as will other opportunities to make cash (selling drugs, robbing stores, and selling cars)

• GTAV will have a large variety of things to spend your money on (clothing, cars, gambling, weapons, safehouses, phones, etc.)

• Players will be able to take out loans, legally or through loan sharks.

• Players can go into debt and end up owing money- in which either the government or loansharks will chase you.

• There will be a variety of safehouses, over 20. Players can rent motels or living amonst the homeless under highways and parks (which are both free).

Buying Cars

Buying Vehicles

Can we buy cars in GTA5?

The Benefits

• Purchased cars will always reappear at safehouses. (under certain circumstances)

• You can drive the car you want, rather than driving around for hours looking for it.

Short Introduction

How about a car that saves itself everywhere? You are limited to one car that NEVER disappears. It will always spawn at your safe house, unless something happens to it. (Let me explain.) You can park it in parking lots, parking garages, or anywhere else all across the map. However, there are some cases when it would disappear. If your car becomes undrivable, it should reappear (brand new) at a local Pay n' Spray. The good thing is you wouldn't lose your car completely. The bad news is there would be some fees for the repair, depending on the damages.

user posted image

Parking

Players can park their car in any parking lot across the game for as long as they want. It will never disappear. On the other hand, if a player leaves their car in the middle of a park or street, it will respawn at a local Pay n' Spray. There, the player will have to pay a small fine for towing. (Keep in mind, cars will only be towed if a player actually leaves the area for a long period of time.)

Damages

If a players car becomes undrivable, it would reappear (brand new) at a local Pay n' Spray. There would be some fees for the repair, depending on the damages. The good news is you can sink it, light it on fire, drive it off a cliff, etc. It will always be your car.

Purchasing Cars

Players can purchase cars online or at the various car dealerships across the game. Car dealerships have a smaller selection, but much better deals. Online websites has every car purchasable, but higher prices. (Link)

Stealing & Robbing

I had an idea to incorporate Red Dead Redemption's selling and buying system into Grand Theft Auto 5. I hope Rockstar does the same. In this system, the 'prized hunts' would be replaced with stolen goods. Stolen goods include, but are not limited to, jewelry, weapons, and drugs.

Click for video.

Pawn shops should replace the stores from Red Dead Redemption, where we would be able to sell our stolen goods. These pawn shops would be located all across the city. (name: Hardcore Pawn?)

We should be able to rob more than just TW@ internet cafes! This is a crime game. We should have more options. I want to be able to rob houses, stores, and people on the streets. It's easier if I separate them by title, as each store would be robbed differently and have a different level of difficulty.

Going in Debt

user posted image

I don't know about you, but this is what I missed from GTA4. I want there to be a moment in GTA5 where I lose everything. I want my safehouse to be a park or under a freeway. This increases playability! Everyone will have their own experiences. Plus, I don't know what is more fun: trying to regain all my money or being chased by loan sharks.

Gambling

Gambling has to make a return. Although GTA5 isn't set in Las Venturas, Rockstar can still implement ways for a player to gamble. Horse racing betting, lottery, casinos, illegal gambling, casinos, online poker, illegal car racing. These are all possibilities.

Banks & Loan Sharks

Banks in GTA5 should be more than just an ATM like GTA4. You should be able to take loans and invest your money in banks. This doesn't have to be as complicated and realistic as real life. It can be simple. For example, take a look at a game called Stick RPG. It should get you on the same page as me.

Loans would add a whole new dimension to gameplay. I loved the casinos in San Andreas because you could get so far in debt that it would actually be fun to get that money back. (It was also entertaining to get chased by loan sharks.) Again, the banking system should be simple. You can put your money or borrow money out. (However, there would be a limit based on your current financial status.) If you don't pay it back, there will be consequences, such as 'Government' loan sharks shoot you.

Safehouse Ideas

user posted image

Types:

• 4 - Apartments, with on-street parking (1 space)

• 2 - House, one-car Garage

• 1 - House, Two-car Garage

• 1 - Warehouse, Garage - 8 parking spaces.

• 1 - Mansion, Two-car Garage + Helipad

• 1 - Mansion, One-car Garage + Dock (can save one boat)

• 1 - Campground.

• 4 - Motels - (Can order a room for up to in-game 7 days & save your car.)

• 5 - FREE (Homeless): Parks, under highways, etc. (free)

• You can sell your house to purchase another one, but you'll lose 20% of the original price.

• Each safehouse will have areas to save your vehicle. You cannot save your vehicle there unless you own in, this includes hotels, motels and campgrounds.

• Everyone will have a different experience, simply because there is a wide variety of real estate. If the player wants to live out of a hotel for the whole game, it's possible.

Gameplay

(Under construction.)

Introduction

The main story is going to be connected to the 1995 movie Heat. Albert De Silva, voiced by Ned Luke, in a sense will be Robert De Niro. 'Heat' is going to be a major theme in GTAV, and it will have ties with the movie. However, unlike Heat, Albert begins to question that one of his crew members is a rat - a spy- an undercover F.B.I. agent. Unfortunately, Albert is right; the FBI informant is Miguel Gonzalez, (the man in the red car from Trailer 1), and Albert's fellow crew member.

The multipleprotagonist theory is true. It will play homage to not only Heat, but the Pulp Fiction. The story will be told through the eyes of multiple characters. Interestingly, our actions affect the storymode. We will also get to play as Miguel and be a cop, the "good guy" with a license to kill. Miguel is also similar to Brian O'Conner from the Fast and the Furious. Clean-cut, morally good, but still on the other side of the tracks.

Story

Working hard to afford the safehouse, and chosing what safehouse you want is all part of the game. It's what makes it fun. - rags to riches

I think Rockstar could get away with including Marijuana (as it's California's state crop). On the other hand, cocaine, LSD, and other drugs would be hard to slip by the media. Nonetheless- drugs should be included in the game, each having their own unique camera effects/filters.

• Counterfeiting: I really think counterfeit plates will be a main theme of GTA5. We haven't seen it since Vice City, and judging by the trailer, the protagonist looks like he's more into organized crime.

• Credit Card Fraud: What if for one mission, we steal a persons identity. We could have 6 minutes to buy whatever we wanted in the game, before the card is canceled.

• Drugs Dealing:

identiy theft, or imperinating a police officer.

• In car chases, the car icon fades away as you get further way from him.

• Missions involving animals, escaped gorillas in the city.

• Multi-step missions

Hand-to-hand-combat

This will bring a whole new level of gameplay for GTA - footchases! Imagine running through peoples yards. Metal fences. Dogs barking. Light- senors.

Things feel a lot more important when you don't have them. Cars, weapons, money will all mean a lot more when you work hard towards getting them.

Mission Structure: Hand-to-hand-combat

The first twenty missions or so should only focus on hand-to-hand-combat and melee weapons. It should NOT feature guns. Rockstar can think of plenty of ways to structure missions without guns or weapons. This would give the game variety and a better 'build up' to the action, like Manhunt. Ignoring guns and focusing on other aspects of gameplay would definitely change the feel of the game. There are plenty of illegal crimes that don't involve guns, for example: fist fighting, lighting fires, credit card fraud, impersonating a police officer, stealing goods, property, information, dtrug trading, grand theft auto, etc. Stealth is also a feature Rockstar could work on - they mastered it in Manhunt.

One of my favorite missions of GTAIV.

Mission Structure: Variety

I predict that GTAV is going to have a completely new mission strucutre than GTA4. Niko was an hired gun, thus the majoirty of the game included "go here and kill X" missions. That was fine for one game, but Rockstar can't use the same approach for GTAV. It has to be bigger and better - otherwise fans will loose faith in the GTA franchise. I expect to see more missions that have you 'steal this toy' and use it - like the Ballad of Gay Tony. We are going to be introduced to a lot of new and old features that were not in the IV era.

Over time, guns should be gradually introduced to the game. It would make weapons that much more special and entertaining to use. (or players can use cheats)

Animals

user posted image

For the first time in a Grand Theft Auto game - animals will act and respond like any other NPC. This new feature will revolutionize the game and give the city character. Just like pedestrians were needed to make IV a 'living-breathing city', animals will be needed to bring to life the surrounding countryside of San Andreas. There is no doubt in my mind that animals will be included in GTAV, especially after the success of Red Dead Redemption.

San Andreas?

<!--SYT--><object width=\"480\" height=\"295\"><param name=\"movie\" value=\"

name=\"wmode\" value=\"transparent\"></param><embed src=\"

This gives Rockstar a lot of new possiblities for mission structure. Personally, I think it's possible that Rockstar encorporates animals into the storymode. Animals can (and might be) the center of some GTAV missions. The missions can be as simple as kidnaping a Celebrity's prized Chi-wa-wa or chasing two grollas that escaped from the Los Santos Zoo. Hell, dogs may even be used to help law enformcement, either by sniffing you out of garbage cans or bringing you down to the ground. This type of gameplay has never been done, so the posibilites are endless. You could literrally write 100 missions just on this one element of gameplay.

Customization

Stamina

•Hot-wiring Cars

You should be taught how to hotwire cars, learning it in one of the first missions. As you progress through the game you'll slowly become faster. At first, it will take 10-15 seconds, but as you steal more cars, it will become incredible faster, up to 3-5 seconds. (as fast as Niko)

•Hand-to-hand-combat

The first 15 missions should be based around hand-to-hand combat and melee weapons. This hasn't been done in a Grand Theft Auto game, and there are so many possibilities. Guns and weapons should 'build up' the suspense and action as progress through the story, just like Rockstar's Manhunt.

• Speed/Stamina

The more you stay in shape, the faster you should be able to run - and I'd like to see a noticeable improvement. I think running from the police will be very important in this game, so I assume this will be something the player will want to work on.

Those radio stations lack variety massively. Rock, Jazz, Electro, Funk - that's all you said there. No pop, no other dance music, nothing. I hope the radio stations have more variety in IV. I'm hoping there'll be a D&B & dubstep station since dubstep has become quite popular & everybody loves a bit of dnb sometimes.

nice work and worth reading ;-)

its some kind of a well-detailed wishlist...you never know what surprises R* has for us in GTA V (could be positive or negative)...

i dont check for GTA V news online (or visit this forum) as often as i did earlier this year (reallife, y'know)

the "screenshot-week" was awesome at first..but i think i can speak for everyone when i say that the screenshots dont let us give the feeling/thinking of "after a wait of >8-9 months, the info we got with the screenshot is enough"...and when i look at your posts im sure you spend a lot of time and hard work to do this..and this only shows that R* kinda missed it to 'let the fans stay in the right moud and dont get angry of this lack of info'

its always nice to see what creative wishes/hopes other gta-fans have for gta v, but most of these wishes couldnt make it into the actual game

i for myself will continue to stay away from gta stuff online and just wait for a some 'real' info / start of marketing campaign for gta v (= 2nd trailer/release date.) and since October will be probably full of MP3 DLCs info/newswire articles/marketing i can only see two future plans R* might have...1-release a 2nd trailer/give us the release date in September..or..2-2nd trailer/release date in November (maybe at the time around AC3,Halo4,COD,etc.)

and this all leads me to my personal opinion of the gta v release date..march 2013 (if they rly plan to release the game during the current fiscal year) or may 2013 (latest, if they will release gta v later than may, it will collide with possible new xbox/playstation reveal)..but, as my signature already mentions, you never know how R* planned their future..

Why so much work for fake radio station logos?

To help better portray my ideas... pictures are a lot easier to understand then text. If I just listed all the songs in the station - you probably wouldn't even read it. cool.gif

You've only listed two other genres - pop and dance, which are very broad to begin with. What else do you want? PINCH fm will cover dubstep, which is why I included it. The station would consist of artists like Knife Party, Prdya, David Guetta, Norin & Rad, Mat Zo & Arty, etc. As far as Pop, what do you want? Britney spears?

Here... I just created a pop station for you. Enjoy.

Wrong. In the United States, frequencies below 92.1 MHz are reserved for non-commercial stations like NPR or some small time job run my a college or university.

Mat Zo & Arty

That escalated quickly. Nice preferences.

OT: As always, not bad concepts at all, I liked it, I like how you got Pulse Radio... from a real LA radio station, only changing its genre tounge.gif

Dude, great work. But i have to be honest, i'm not gonna check it out too much. It's all nothing but a big wishlist and predictions, and of the latter we already have way too much. The stuff about the police sounds great and i sure hope Rockstar sees it that way too. I never really thought of it, but it's exactly those things that could really use a big improvement and change. But i'm not gonna get excited and look forward to features that really might not be in the game at all.
