wideawakebored
I have a legal version that i bought on steam years ago and worked at the time. I decided to install the game again but now after downloading the game crashes to my desktop giving me no error. I have tryed a bunch of fixs and nothing is working. I have a Q6600 4 gbs of ram and 560 ti so running the game should not be an issue at all. I am running the latest version as well. mkey82
Does the crash occur at startup? Install this GFWL update and run the file integrity check, maybe the download was busted.

SherriffRick
Did you by any chance install any scripts? or delete any?
wideawakebored
Did you by any chance install any scripts? or delete any? Its the standard base game, nothing modded. Oh sorry and no scripts at all.
Miro
Found a solution on a forum, maybe it'll work? Never say never. Uninstall Internet Explorer 9 Beta1. Open Programs and features window. To open it, type appwiz.cpl in Start menu search area and then hit enter. 2. In the left pane, click View installed updates option to see list of installed updates. Here locate the entry named Windows Internet Explorer 9. (It's deep in the Microsoft Windows section. Look carefully.) 3. Right-click on the entry and select uninstall. This will revert you to the old version. 4. Reboot 5. Try again. Dead (Retired)
