smokin427
Is it realistic that GTA V would require multiple discs to play the whole game on Xbox?
Cjs3315
Common sense would tell you, " No sh*t Sherlock. "
MikeMyth
I expect it to be on one entire disk after the DLC is released like the GTA IV: Complete Edition. If you mean doing it like L.A. Noire, no I don't think it should require multiple discs, and I don't see how that makes it realistic.
BlackLightning
Definitely multiple discs for you 360 owners. Time to invest in a PS3.
smokin427
Ive never had a game that required multiple discs, but I had heard this idea floating around. Didn't know if this was something that could actually happen. I guess a better question would be, Why exactly would GTA V require multiple discs? fastetshot
La Noire required 3 disk's ( 4 disk's complete edition) because of the motion capture+the long story using that feature, Max Payne 3 required 2 disk's because of the multiplayer maps. The map wouldn't be a problem just look at Skyrim 3,8 gb. If you ask me GTA V will be on 1 disk(max 2) just like Red Dead Redemption, GTA IV, Assassins Creed, Sleeping Dogs, Saints Row etc. Also it's really stupid saying that GTA V will be on 3 disk's because GTA IV Complete Edition was on 2 disk's(GTA IV with Niko 20+hours of story and the 2 DLC's with 20+hours of story, new cars , radio stations, side missions etc...) Cosmic Gypsy
I predict GTA V will be on 2 - 3 discs. I would personally be happy if it was 5 discs.
Msharingan
4 Characters, 4 Discs. Ah. I don't know. I don't think mutliple discs makes sense for a Free Roam game. Maybe 360 owners will get the main game and an optional install disc.

smokin427
why exactly would the game have to come in multiple discs? ..the size of the map? ...and what the the pros and cons of multiple discs?
wwinterj
It's always possible when talking about a 360 version. Let's hope with the next Xbox Microsoft use a different media format. Something like HD DVD would be enough. It's not a big deal though and I'm still buying GTA V for the 360. Some of the greatest games I've ever played are on 4 disks. Shocking I know! Geralt of Rivia
why exactly would the game have to come in multiple discs? ..the size of the map? ...and what the the pros and cons of multiple discs? There's nothing wrong with multiple discs. Just something PS3 fangirls (not the community, the people who continually bash Xbox, before I get flamed for this) use to try and bash Xbox. The only thing it does is make you put in a new disk whenever it tells you to. Not a big deal
Johan
Obviously it will, not on PS3 though which is the first version of the game I'm getting.

I mean the full map was on every disk so thats what I was trying to say earlier...the map doesnt really counts just the story with its cut scenes ( motion capture in LA Noire's case)
VickeX
I think it's possible that it will be multiple discs. Two, or possibly three if the story is very long. Could be one disc for the single player and one for multiplayer. Wouldn't mind me though. Sure it's a bit of an annoyance but i much prefer the 360 web connectivity, controls and more over the Playstation 3. I have both. But if (just if) it comes out for PC at the same time, i'm getting it there instead.
Shoumaker
This is why I love playing on my pc, Just installl the game, then store the disk away for later use. I know you can install games on consoles but they dont have much space imo and yes it will have multiple disks on the xbox
Adriaan
These multiple disc topics pop up every week now. I guess it's a natural humanly inevitable thing.
