Mr_Leone
Which GTA do you prefer? I'm a LCS guy, but GTA III is awesome. I can't really decide.
AnDReJ98
Well,III is more older and lower quality than LCS because LCS was made after III,but there's no PC version i played it on PS2 about 4 years ago (R.I.P PS2). But in my option i perfer like III. It was cool and portagonist is better and story is cool. (Toni kissed Salvatore's ass )
Mr_Leone
LCS would have benefited greatly from a PC port.

Andreaz1
LCS and VCS were developed by Rockstar Leeds, not Rockstar North, I think that's why. And that sucks. Massively. I think I'd rather see them properly ported to PC than GTA V right now. Not being able to play them leaves massive holes in the III Era for me. Senex Iunior
III. As old as the game is, there's just so much missing in LCS...
Space Cowboy
III for sure. Just look at III's atmosphere, storyline and other things, there is something special about GTA III which LCS lacked .
Mr_Leone
I liked LCS atmosphere more, actually.
Redketman
GTA III is the most memorable game and I also think that game had a better soundtrack, story and atmosphere than Liberty City Stories. And Claude was awesome! That being sad, Liberty City Stories is still a good game. As far as I remember the graphics were improved in some ways and there were good additional features like motorbikes included.

GTA III has the prestigious title of being the grandfather of GTA 3D games. I still think LCS has more quality, Toni is obviously much more in-depth then Claude, and I much prefer the sunnier atmosphere, making it more realistic then the nearly always dark GTA III. Vega LVI
I've clocked in countless hours on LCS (the PSP version) and have done so much in Liberty City, side mission-wise. I've dominated Noodle Punk, Thrashin' RC, Bumps and Grinds, Torrington TT, Car-azy Car Give Away and f*cktons more. With that said, I still voted for III as I also played so much out of it and plus, it's revolutionary 3D impact will always be implemented in my memory. Algonquin Assassin
GTA III. LCS felt too bright and cheerful for what's meant to be "the worst place in America". However I like Toni more than Claude.
Pyrrhic
However I like Toni more than Claude. In the 3 years between GTA 3 and LCS Toni really let himself go though, he looked like he put on about 40kg. I guess Rockstar just didn't want people running around as some fatso who runs out of breath after 5 seconds.

A2 MFK
LCS was a MAJOR disappointment on most fronts, especially since it was next in line after San Andreas: Toni can't crouch Toni can't swim Toni can't recruit Leones Toni can't mod cars Toni can't fly (With the exception of a maverick that you're not supposed to be able to get) Toni can't change indervidual sections of his outfit Toni can't change Leone territory The map is microscopic compared to San Andreas Toni only has three safe-houses The plot is awful and Toni kills off favorite characters from other games like Avery Carrington Bottom line is the game just sucked... People just need to realise that LCS was meant to be psp game, comparing it to SA is just unfair . They did very good job with LCS as psp game imo. That's not completely true. III had overall better graphics than LCS. The textures in LCS were mostly smaller in size and quality. I opened the files myself and I was surprised at first, but it makes sense since LCS was originally made for the PSP. I think they didn't even improve the graphics at all when they ported it to the PS2. Irrational
I think they didn't even improve the graphics at all when they ported it to the PS2. They did. Not only -some of- the textures were better, but the trees also had more polygons and the game had a better lighting system.

What you just wrote means you also hate GTA 3. It has the same "disadvantages" as LCS, with only a few features implemented. OT: 3. From what i've read on this topic, LC is supposed to be dark. Also, 3 was simple as f*ck, and is still very enjoyable.

It is a game that will never be forgotten or left behind in history. It is a game that will always have die hard players. It is, in my opinion, one of the best aged games, I still regularly play it and its not one that I switch off after 5 minutes, becasue it brings back the memories of back in 2003. Satourn
I voted for III, because I simply loved this game. Even though it wasn't my first GTA, it was still awesome, and it still is. And, well, I didn't really play LCS, so I had no real choice here, but to vote for III.
