I wouldn't understand R* if they would release GTA V in February 2013 instead of the October - November period of 2012. Furthermore, as long as the game is vaporware anyway, they are going to go all-in. Rockstar is going to hype up a massive, absolutely irresistable pre-order bonus package that will result in about 15 million preorders, money in the bank, diverted to new accounts the Housers have set up in the Caymans and Switzerland. Then the day before release day, all those GTAV disks will go out in the mail, and the Housers will be on a plane to the paradise of their choice, each with a USB stick full of their offshore bank account credentials. The next day, while the Housers are sipping Mai Tais in their lounge chairs on their private white sand beach, 15 million elated gamers will receive their prized GTAV games in the mail, plug them into their consoles, and the opening screen will fade in ........ This isn't the first time I've seen a "release date" from a retail store. If it comes out 2013, then it comes out in 2013z but, I'm still lingering on a December release date for Christmas sales.
