how to give any name to added cars (not replaced)

i have added bugatti veyron to gta 4 it works fine. but i wish to add original name of car instead of existing.

 

how can i do that?

I have exactly the same question! Cant find an answer for it.

 

I have modded my GTA IV with a trainer, enhancer and added cars ( no replace ). My problem is that i dont know if it is even possible, but how i can give the added car an own name.

When i change the vehicle.IDE i use in the fifth colum an already excisting name of car. Otherwise my added car has no sound. That means that there are now several cars with the same name ingame, which i dont really like.

 

Is there somewhere a file where i can add new carnames which i can use for that colum, just duplicate an excisting one with a new name.

or any other way

guys, u can't, it's hardcoded. u have to use the 5th value from original cars. no other way

Oke thank you for the reply, now i will have to do it with 10 Schafters ingame hihi:P

but u can change the name for the vehicles, such edit "schafter" to something else, f.e. "Mercedes" . u'll need a program which is called something like GXT editor. haven't used it for a year or so, so i don't remember anything else about it than what it does and the name

Its the problem that follows because mutiple cars have the same ingame name.

When i use simple trainer to spawn a Schafter, I can get different cars because i named in "colum 5" other cars Schafter as well to give them sound:). And like u said i cant create new carnames i cant fix this.

u have too ADD the cars to the trainer. in trainer.ini look for "//Added Cars //" and then u add the cars there
