rockstar registered a couple domains or trademarks like GTA TV and another one. I don't know the details (google it yourselves), but that indicates it'll be back. icon14.gif

More that you may think, and it's not just the space, the performance is also important.

Reading your comment makes me think you are one of those as*holes who think that a game has high or low quality by just looking at the graphics

"Performance"

What the f*ck are you even talking about. We're not going to be rendering video at 2560x1440 16:9 resolution using hyperthreading from an i7.

It's a simple video editor for a low resolution game, doing the same thing Skate did. The xbox 360's tricore is more than powerful enough to run a simple editor.

I didn't say it was low quality at all. Hell, I didn't even assault the graphics.

I merely said that the resolution is low in the screenshots. Stop being such a child.

Please, it's isn't about the video editor performance, what I'm trying to say is that, if this game is going to have such a big map, long story and all of it detailed, I don't think that a console video editor is such a "easy" thing to include on consoles, HOW do you dare to compare GTA V to skate 2 or 3?

True, that one was a really good one. The only thing I think the editor lacks is the animations. I do not use the editor myself but I think a little more animations should be included to actually give the posibilities of creating cinematics a la Rockstar.

Sí, es bueno encontrarse con gente española, que todo lo pintan tan internacional que siempre nos olvidamos que a nivel nacional estamos igual de ansiosos que fuera jajaja. Que ganas de que anuncien algo del V.

You're right, IV needed more animations & better animations. Im talking about those animatios that were kinda of a mix between cutscene and gameplay were kind robotic and seemed really weird. I hope they improve that...

Having to remember the past activity needed for recording would be a waste of memory. The consoles already have a severe shortage of memory, both main and video. IMO, they'd use that memory to improve the actual game.

The Video Editor in GTA IV was the most amazing thing R* had ever done i mean if you look at some youtube GTA IV videos they are so amazing infact they look like movies, if R* improves it i would be so great

Improvements Could be Made.

* Ability to delete a marker after placement

* More Slow Motion Options

* No limitations regarding Clip Capture (Remove the 30 Second Limit)

* Faster Rendering.

* Option for uploading to YouTube (If Possible)

* Remove Camera Limits (Ability to Look from any Angle)

P.S. guys i don't know how to increase text size when i click preview it just shows me the tag line nothing changes.

i must go with improvements,i am a pc gamer and I loved this feature in gta iv.i was going to make some machinimas but,the clock tick's right away !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You can.

* More Slow Motion Options

What?

* No limitations regarding Clip Capture (Remove the 30 Second Limit)

Not gonna happen.

* Faster Rendering.

Learn PCs.

* Option for uploading to YouTube (If Possible)

No, they got Social Club for it.

* Remove Camera Limits (Ability to Look from any Angle)

Depends, but can't be too far.

Only change I'd like is multiple songs in a video, more text fonts, transitions, flashes etc...it's actually good as it is now.

Except for the First statement,

Your Argument is Invalid.

They should add one for console players also. Maybe not as advanced as the PC one but it's still possible. Maybe even let users upload to youtube like Wrestling games do on the PS3.

With the internet browser coming to 360 I don't see this been a problem.

I'll be getting it on console but that does sound like a cool feature!

Agreed! I'd love to see this come to PS3 and 360.

* No limitations regarding Clip Capture (Remove the 30 Second Limit)

The limit was imposed due to hardware limitations, the game was tasking the memory too much as it was.

In some cases turning the feature off could affect performance greatly. Of course, if one wanted, it would be beneficial to have an option and decide how much of the system resources you wish to allocate to this feature.

Well you are right but this is not a console we're talking about this is a 8GB GDDR3 beast.

Almost certainly GTAV is going to be compiled as a 32 bit application and as such will be aware of 2GB RAM (possibly more could be forced, but that's not your out of the box behavior) which makes all the extra system RAM pretty damned useless.

Yep, with improvements.

Off-topic, I don't actually know what to do! GTA V WILL come out on consoles awhile before PC; which I want it on. But I don't know if I should get it on my PS3 first, or wait!

You actually have a MUThAfAKiNg point happy.gif 32 bit applications have limitations on the Memory thats why i switched to a 64 bit CPU in 2006 because when i bought new RAM i found out Windows+Anything that is 32Bit will not take the full advantage of the Memory.

No wonder you have a medal sleepy.gif .

Yes, as you have noticed, 32 applications run under 64 bit OS in a compatibly mode, sort of virtual PC.

That obviously means that all limitations will get carried over. Not only is the application limited to 2GB of RAM it can address (which can be extended to 4GB if the program is made large address aware) but it's also "logically" limited to the amount of memory it's ready to allocate and use.

In other words, if GTAV is going to be able to use more RAM, R* will have to specifically implement such functionality.

Yeah. Those watermarks were annoying. That's why I used to record the video with fraps after making all the adjustments instead of rendering it through the editor.

Yes, but for me, just as a PC exclusive function. Rockstar should bother about more strictly in-game options now than such things like video editors.
