Lesson learned folks: Dont get your hopes so high and Beta means BETA. It's just too bad that somebody let those marketing f*cks out of their cage about 18 months too early, and they immediately spouted out words like " the largest and most ambitious game Rockstar has yet created." We interpreted "ambitious" to mean gameplay. Instead, it meant the GTAV world design, which is indeed the most ambitious and detailed virtual world design work I have ever seen. But after launching that initial fusillade and then going silent for a year, Rockstar marketing let the community go crazy with speculation. If they actually had delivered the most ambitious gameplay ever, there would be little to complain about. But unlike the ultra-richness of the virtual world design, the gameplay design lacked many little things that we rightfully expected based on past games and the assumption that this game would be Rockstar's coup de grâce.
