yoječ
GTX570 will be undeniably faster. Better core is more important than the quantity of RAM. Though, none of these two card is worth buying new, you should be able to find HD7870 2GB in about the same price as GTX570.
Wolf68k
If that was a GTX560 Ti-448 with 2GB of RAM and it was cheaper than the 570 then I'd say get the 560. However since I looked at Newegg and didn't find any 448's with 2GB of RAM then it must be the normal 560 Ti in which case I'd say get the 570. With some games having more RAM for a weaker card can make it perform as well as a card that is a step up if not better. However I don't think that is really the case with BF3 and Batman. Looking at this review the 7870 isn't that much better than the 570. So if you like nVidia then I say stick with it. If you want to try AMD/ATI then that's on you, just make sure you get out all of the nVidia drivers first.
yoječ
Performance-wise there isn't much difference, though HD7870 runs cooler and requires less power. That's why I've suggested it.
Kanja
i actually never used Ati cards. I 'm a Nividia's Kid so i'm gonna stick with Nvidia. now please advise me which should i get.
sivispacem
I'd go for the 570, although for only ten quid more than GTX570 money you could get a 660Ti and that's where I'd put my money. yoječ
That might be a good option too. If you're not in a hurry you might wait for GTX660, which will be the main competitor to HD7870. It should come out any time soon.

MIKON8ERISBACK
The TI models are just watered down, lower end variants of the main ones. If you got the money, I would strongly suggest the GTX 560 or GTX 570. Notice: Alleged factual error corrected by Ryan. Ryan
The TI models are just watered down, lower end variants of the main ones. Not to be an ass, but you obviously have no clue what you're talking about. The 560 TI is a higher end card than the 560.
sivispacem
The TI models are just watered down, lower end variants of the main ones You really are an idiot. The Ti's are actually much faster than the non-Ti cards. For instance: The GTX560 is basically just a renamed GTX460. The GTX560Ti is based on the GTX570, but slightly detuned, so has more cores and pipeliens than the GTX560. It's also about 15% faster. Pat
It should come out any time soon. I know I already posted this in Fozzy's thread, but it's already available on Newegg.

It's also about 15% faster. To be more precise, GTX560Ti is a fully unlocked GTX460. The same exact story was with GTX550Ti (which uses unlocked GTS450 core), GTX570 (again - unlocked GTX470 core), and GTX580 (once again - unlocked GTX480 core). Here's the GTX460/560 core, as you can see part of it was disabled, and then enabled in GTX560Ti. @Pat: that's GTX660Ti (HD7950's competitor), not GTX660. Pat
@Pat: that's GTX660Ti (HD7950's competitor), not GTX660. Is there going to be a big enough difference in price to warrant getting the GTX660 over the 660 Ti? I figured there'd be less than a $50 difference in price, and personally I'm the kind of guy that thinks if I can get a significantly faster card for $50 more, it's worth every penny. I guess it all comes down to how one defines "significantly" faster, though.

Stinky12
if Nvidia followed their GeForce 500 series line up then later on we me also get GTX 660Ti XXXCore Edition, and GTX660SE

I thought I read that it had a lower calculations per second rate than the regular 560. F*ck...
yoječ
You must have confused Ti with SE.
