fatithegamer
for me this calendar doesnt have much of a significance.i dont care when the game will be released because when it will be released,it will be released.but i saw this reply on the fall calendar comments section adn they(R*)said that some of the games not listed in the calendar, can be added later and that gamers will be informed via facebook,twitter,etc.etc. which games will be played online, like MCLA.so here is the response i copy pasted it.Now i know that all of you can see this comment so i was so lazy to make a pic of it: R* Y46 minutes agoReply @makdady12 We might have some playsessions with the game that aren't on the calendar, be sure to follow us on our Twitter, Facebook, Google+ and Steam pages to get the word when we're jumping on in the future... Apollo_33
I assume OP wanted Rockstar to put a GTA V event in the calender, like right in our f*cking faces and reveal the timeframe of the game's release. That'd be a strategically intelligent thing to do, innit :3 ? In conclusion, this proves jack. So what will you take as proof? Whatever official news there'd be concerning GTA V's release date. How original Your portrayal of country folk as dumb makes you look like a bottom feeder. You would bow down before a REAL 'Soggy Bottom Boy'. Anyways, Dec. 2012 isn't completely out the winder yet, so there's still hope. But I think Oct. 2012 is becoming more and more likely as we move forward in time. geeteeaye
There is no way the game is coming out while their still having events for GTA IV. Everyone who thinks so is delusional. It will come out by March, just wait and stop getting mad when you don't get your way. Oh really? And explain to my why they won't do that. Please explain to me why I'm delusional. I've pretty much ruined that 'fact' with my last post I hope your right. Wishful thinking won't make you right though.

Msharingan
Hopeful: March 2013Realistic: May 2013 Cynical: October 2013 My thoughts exactly. March 2013 seems a little early. May 2013 will be a year after Rockstar's last release, and before E3 (when the showing of the next-generation of consoles and games would make GTA V look like old news). October 2013 if a delay occurs.
Geralt of Rivia
To people saying they can't release a game in the remaining 4 months of 2012: This generation is all about viral marketing. When GTA screenshots/info is released, it's trending on Twitter, lots of videos are uploaded on Youtube, and Facebook is ablaze. Just for a screenshot. Now imagine a release date As long as R* announces the release date this month, and gives people 2-3 months for pre-orders, it can be released in 2012. Right now, it's 50/50 Oh, and this calendar is evidence to nothing. Do you really think they'd announce a GTA 5 window in a calendar, instead of saying it themselves? If you think logically for one second, not with your heart but your brain, you know that GTA V isn't going to be released this year. If it was it could be the death of Rockstar; games like Call of Duty: Black Ops II have way more attention despite being announced later.

You really think R* would get killed releasing in the holiday season? So I guess Halo would get killed too. And every other game that's releasing would get killed too, since it's not as big as CoD. Oh wait, they won't? That's what I thought too! Now who's the one not using their brain?
Andreas
My thoughts exactly. March 2013 seems a little early. May 2013 will be a year after Rockstar's last release, and before E3 (when the showing of the next-generation of consoles and games would make GTA V look like old news). October 2013 if a delay occurs. March 2013...too early? That are 16 months after the first trailer so it's not really to early. May 2013 if a delay would happen. October 2013 won't happen in any case. TakeTwo assume to make the big money by March 31st 2013. Let's assume the originally release is in March 2013 and then there is a delay to October 2013 then that would be a 7 months delay. The last time Rockstar did delay a game by so many months was with GTA IV and Midnight Club Los Angeles. GTA IV was delayed because of issues on the PS3 and it was the first open-world game of Rockstar this console generation with the new engines. MC:LA was delayed because Rockstar don't wanted to release 2 AAA-titles in the same month so a delay by 7 months happened. GTA V isn't Rockstars first open-world game this console generation so I doubt that such a long delay would happen. I would say if a delay to FY'14 would happen then May 2013 is the worst case at all. BlackNoise
This doesn't mean anything, because people still play GTA SA and R* would do MP events for it if it was current gen and MP. People will still play IV when V comes out, and since R* likes money, they will still support it. I'm not saying V is dropping before November, but I'm just saying that calendar proves nothing. And just use simple logic. If you know anything about how GTA sales work, then you understand there will be many more copies of IV than V for awhile. And a $20 GTA is a more attractive option for some people who can't afford V on release. Some will buy both if they haven't played IV yet. Again, that calendar means nothing, and I know it's hard to understand this now, but some people will simply like IV more than V.
I Shot The Sheriff
SORRY FOR BEING AN ATTENTION HOE BUT: The calendar is for "fall 2012", however, why doesn't it last until the whole fall 2012 and it stops in November? Put it this way: when they make events for December, how will they call the calendar if it's not fall 2012? Are they leaving room for the first GTA V events in December??? significantother
I guess I finally get the green light to brag about how I was right the whole time about a no 2012 release? Come on guys get in line, starting with you Brian <3 So because you said it wasn't coming out in 2012, that automatically means you are superior to those who were hoping? Bow down everybody, here is the king Johacamigames. On topic, who thought it was coming in 2012? I did for a short while, but then I saw that there was so much evidence that it wasn't even coming out until 2013 anyway. El Zilcho
It still isn't an Autumn month, so why would it be in a 'fall' calendar? Can we stop being so preposterous and finish holding onto the hugely unlikely 2012 release theory? It isn't going to happen. ll rdny ll
Hmm... GTA V doesn't have a release date yet. So why would they even consider putting a game that doesn't have an announced release date on the Fall Schedule?
