And has everything changed since you signed up in here? Be honest. It's really is the best, i'm not that active on any other forum, i used to be quite active on GameFaqs back in the day, but i stopped going to there after i got banned for the 2nd time for disagreeing with a nintendo-freak who happens to be a mod also, can't believe people have the nerve to complain about the moderators here, they are angels compared to the control-freaks on other forums. The forum community's also something to admire, there are many members here that joined this forum nearly a decade ago, tells you that there's got to be something good about this place. There are a few problems with the forums, don't get be wrong, it's a fantastic place to hang out in but sometimes the new members seem to get a tinny tiny bit annoying. Now, there's the history, the forum has quite an interesting one with many changes over the years, when you look back into old post history you can find some really strange, cool or just down right crazy threads. Overall GTAForums is one of the few places I can call home on the internet, and for that reason I love it. I don't remember if the IV section was spammed up as much as the V section is now but i'm pretty sure it was the same. The V forum sucks because of the people that make a new topic about sh*t every 2 minutes. Nothing more could be done in the V section apart form locking it, which isn't the best of ideas. OT: This is the best forum site I've ever signed up for. Most of the other forum sites are just full of trolls and spam. This one is actually managed quite well and MOST members follow the rules. A few months ago I compiled a list of websites that didn't make me angrier than I already was, this site was one of the four that made it. I don't really post much because someone usually says what I want to say, and I don't like just reiterate a point that has been made already. This place has a section for everybody. Modders, gamers, sports nuts, philosophers and musicophiles all have somewhere to go. Hell, I haven't made a GTA related post in quite a while because I have more than enough to talk about. I don't recognize most of the posters around here as they have joined around 2010-2012 and the last time I was constantly active was in 2009. The look of the forum has not changed and I'm still using the same "$outh$ide Hoodz" background but the whole forum feels rather dead compared to when I first joined (and I'm talking outside of just the IV/V section which is always traffic heavy when the game is on it's way). I remember when "08er" was an insult due to all the annoying IV joiners. Time really flies fast... Right now, I've sort of moved on. I do play my PS2 GTA games on holidays at night and come here to make a few posts, but I just don't have the same addiction for the series as I used to and similarly, my interests in this forum has faded away and I barely posted during 2011.
