MosquitoSmasher
Slightly offtopic, but when i have the answer , this can be locked right away. I recall this seeing in a signature from a user on this forum. Basically it was from an article i think, it was about what kind of things GTA could learn/use that's in the Saints Row games. What i really liked though the way both games were described. GTA was described in a way as if it was a very serious and adult gangster flick and Saints Row was ....wasn't it Michael Bay? Something like that. I'm in a discussion with someone about SRTT and GTA IV, and i would like to show him that quote. Lol. I've been checking several threads out here to see if i could find it, the signature, but nope. I googled it, no luck either. Anyone?

EverBlazin
Somebody on here made the comparison that GTA is like a Martin Scorsese film and SR is like a Michael Bay film. One is made for fun, in your face action, and the other is for deep, thoughtful storytelling. The don't need to mix. (Don't know the guys username that said this, but I totally agree with it.) this is a quote of the quote...close? http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=517402

BlackLightning
GTA can learn nothing from that crap game. The story had its moments. But overall, that game was very dull. Not to mention full of bugs. And not fun ones like we find in GTA games.
ryuclan
Wasnt there an actual topic about that. Im sure the ideas found there would be better than the ones you'll find in that article Hey look what google can do... one article There are more but I'm sure you can figure google out. Come on...you can do it...who's a big boy? Edited September 4, 2012 by ryuclan

Hmmm nice bike
One thing they can learn is to not try and cheat us for sh*tty on-disc DLC that should have been in the game to begin with. Another is to not make a half-assed sequel and expect us to enjoy it.

I can only assume your talking about Saints Row but this topic is what can GTA learn from Saints Row, when it should be what can Saints Row learn from GTA. Hmmm nice bike
Yeah, I meant they can learn from Saints Row The Third to not even try to do that. Sorry, I should have made that more clear I have faith that Rockstar won't pull that crap anyway. Edited September 4, 2012 by Claude94

John Footpenis
You all are actually wrong. Looking at SR2 they did a number of things better than any GTA to date. Traffic behavior on expressways, actual expressways, police vehicle lighting, the story wasn't to shabby either but R* has got that down. Maybe some of you need to go back and play it.
