I just meant that if they where not making Max Payne 3, Rockstar North might have asked for their help, making a huge part of the vancouver team avaible for helping out on the GTA V project. It's a good question. I think we would have a healthy, wonderful amount of GTAV publicity and info by now, a few great trailers and background videos, massive number of screenshots. The game would be close to release now. The game would look incredible based on the screenshots and trailers, with an amazing variety of rich, high quality minigames and a long, complext story, because they would have had an extra 200 man years of effort put into GTAV if Max Payne 3 had not diverted all tha talent. Unfortunately the Max Payne 3 writers would also be on the GTAV team. We would know by now that the protag in GTAV would be named Max Payov, a burned out, embittered, constantly complaining, alcoholic, self-pitying, former Eastern European secret police honcho, who has defected and is now living incognito in Los Santos, trying to stay below the radar while using his former career skills to pursue the almighty dollar, in less than legal and moral ways. Maybe or maybe Vancouver would be working on another game. You see having a game out every year really isn't a job one team can do. Just look at COD. They have more than one team working on R* games so they can get more games out there. If they stopped doing there thing and all worked on GTA V sure we would get GTA V quicker but then R* will be screwed for the rest of there franchises. Another point to consider is North had nothing to with MP3 so even if it never existed we'd still be where we're at atm. Why people think MP3 still has a resounding affect on GTA V I'll never know.
