Well... what would of happened had the dreamcast won the console wars of last generation? Who do you think would of left the running instead of sega in the console business, what current gen games do you think would of been on dreamcasts successor? Etc. I think that if the system had succeeded, lots of games would of been exclusive to it. Sucker Punch for example had originally intended Sly Cooper to be dreamcast exclusive, however the system was facing trouble while they were developing it, so they decided to use it on PS2 instead. Another example is Universal had said if the dreamcast was still around, Spyro Enter the dragonfly and Crash the wrath of cortex would of both been exclusive to the console. If dreamcast 2 came? Not everyone knows as much about technology as we do. The original PS3 boasted compatibility with just about every digital computer storage medium out there. Then along came the redesigned models. Sonic the Hedgehog for the PS3 was the worst PS3 game I have EVER played, and the only genuinely bad video game I have played in my life. You maybe want to look at the Playstation 3. The console has DVD,CD-ROM and BLU RAY logos. Its just saying it can play those.
