Sorry to burst your bubble, but rockstar said themselves that there will be no III-era characters in the new era, apart from unseen characters such as lazlow. Well, it's a place/street, not a character. And many "landmarks" returned for LC, it wouldn't be Los Santos without Grove Street. It may be different now, it may not have any Green on it, but Grove Street will be there, and I believe, Grove Street Families still exist - even if just as memories. It's not reported, and not real info, but I believe it. Tommy, Claude, Carl, Tony, and Victor all exist in GTA IV. As memories. OG Loc CD's exist. Saying "No returning characters" is not the same as "not the the same universe" It is the same universe, it is years later, changed, and different stories. Of 10+ million people in NYC, and Niko fresh off the boat, of course no one from the past LC games would know him/be intertwined with his story. That is the beauty of it: 10 million stories in that city. Not everyone in Liberty City knew Claude Speed. But he still existed there. So, maybe we'll have a 'Houser Blvd.' than... Other suggestions: - Athletics Blvd. (Olympic Blvd.) - Hippie Street (Flower Street) - Khaki Street (Olive Street) - Vincent Vega Ct. For example, East-West streets in Algonquin were named after minerals and chemical elements, and ordered alphabetically (Amethyst to Xenotime Street). In Alderney, the northern districts have streets mostly named after mountain ranges within the Rockies, such as Percell Road and Big Horn Drive. Central Alderney routes are named after cult leaders, like Koresh Square, Applewhite Street, Jonestown Avenue and Hubbard Avenue, whilst most streets in the southern part of the island are named after US nuclear bomb tests (Plumbbob Avenue, Emery Street, Niblick Street, etc.). It would be nice if this format was carried over into the next game, perhaps containing themes that are synonymous with life in Southern California. saintsrow Posted September 6, 2012 Share Posted September 6, 2012 After Rockstar uses up all the good parody street names, they should name the minor streets with the last names of all the various hundreds of artists, designers and developers who have labored mightily to produce this (expected to be) monumental game, GTAV. There are hundreds of names in the GTA credits, so there should be plenty for the (hopefully) hundreds of streets in Los Santos and the surrounding countryside. Some were named after minerals i.e., Quartz St., Diamond St., Vauxite St., Pyrite St., Wardite St., Topaz St., Amythest St. And some were named after U.S. capitals like Albany ave. I think they should put the names of past GTA's.
