born2blaze1
Just by looking through the video and screen shoots that have been released I'm under the impression that GTA 5 may incorporate all the citys from the GTA 3 trilogy. There are license tags from Liberty City and San Andreas. In the original San Andreas you jump in a jet to go to Liberty City in the Saint Marks mission and the end of the first released trailer has a jet returning from the east. It just seems to me to be the next logical step in bringing the whole GTA universe together.

NikoVercetti
They're not even using all of San Andreas, let alone the other cities. Edited September 3, 2012 by NikoVercetti

JaggySnake
No way. Maybe in GTA X but not in V. Consoles are running on old 5-6 year old hardware. Rockstar are gonna be pushing them to the absolute limits with V. Come back when we're on PS6/XBOX 1440.

huevos_benedicto_180
Developed by series creator Rockstar North, Grand Theft Auto V heads to the city of Los Santos and surrounding hills, countryside and beaches in the largest and most ambitious game Rockstar has yet created. Kill Frenzy!
Exactly, this is not San Andreas anymore, San Andreas was a state in the third era, with three cities included, this time this state maybe is going to have an another name, and with new cities, San Francisco and Las Vegas won´t be there, only Los Santos is now confirmed and maybe if we are lucky we will see a new city, could be San Diego if our hopes comes true... chimpsch89
i dont know why there are so many people who are obsessed with this game incorporating all of the cities from san andreas. san andreas is my favourite GTA game and probably my favourite game of all time but i think it would be a bad decision to try to make a current gen game that tries to copy a game released 8 years ago. i am also sure that rockstar would feel this way too. this game is going to be amazing in its own right. if they were going to have all three cities they might as well release GTA: san andreas again but with the graphics upgraded to HD. ive said it before: if people want san andreas again, get the san andreas disc back out of the box. Dude-Man
ive said it before: if people want san andreas again, get the san andreas disc back out of the box. I agree; San Andreas was my favorite, and I think any attempt to recreate 'San Andreas' from the past would be a mistake. I believe that San Andreas was great because of where the gaming community was at the time. I was blown away by VC, then SA came out and set a benchmark for the franchise. Don't worry people, V will be awesome too; it just can't replace the classic SA.
Swampert
They're not even using all of San Andreas, let alone the other cities. Really? Rockstar never said such a thing. People here just state their opinions as facts, it really annoys me, and don't get started with what they said at the official announcement.
