I've always played GTA games on consoles. I hope PC gamers get a better port this time around, I heard GTA IV's PC version was filled with problems.

Took upto 7 patches to fix the game dude, I think itll be Direct X 11 optimised and will run great on the pc, just look at LA Noire and MP3 pc version.

If you dont like mods the best experience you will had playing GTA V it will be on a console in front of a big LED...

Or you know, you can just do it like me and get yourself a 42" TV as a PC monitor and get a Xbox controller for your PC. Did that with GTA IV and it worked beautifully.

I will certainly get the PC version, since I don't own any consoles. (except Sega Mega Drive, but that's vintage! lol.gif )

I will get it for both. Console so I can play with my friends and on my huge TV in the lounge ^^.

PC so I can go crazy with mods and get those graphics enhancer to make the already good graphics even more good oh and some more mods.

Me too man taltigolt is just awesome his Mods, Vids and Generosity. btw The Atlas and P-Body Models are so Detailed it even gave me a Portal 2 Vibe

Actually I think it will be like Max Payne 3's release-pattern and I really hope it won't be the same as the previous GTAs with more than a half year difference. Things have been changed..

Not going to happen. Rockstar knows theres more console players, and its quicker to optimize console ports. Plus, RAGE engine was originally built for Consoles, xbox 360 to be specific. But was also on PS3 and PC.

You act like it's impossible, you do know that it could happen, right? Look at the screenshots, your going to tell me those didn't come from a PC? While on the other hand, the other screenshots from previous games (San Andreas, Vice City, IV etc) came from the console version of the game. Also, you are acting like it has never happened in a GTA game. If you think that I can list some GTA games that came out first on PC.

Like I have stated previously, it could happen, you act like it is impossible for it to happen, once again I can show you some evidence to support my theory.

You probably left "I think"

 

ON TOPIC: I would get the PC version. It'd probably be the last Rockstar PC games I buy if the PC version turned out to be not fully optimized and at the same level as GTA IV. However, I don't think this will happen as in the Max Payne 3 PC interview, Rockstar mentioned that they finally realized most of the PC gamers are NOT using cutting-edge hardware, which explained the case of GTA IV PC. If anything, GTA V PC is the game that will determines my next gaming options, either to stay on PC or get a next generation console.

Exactly. Or even higher.. here an example of an official screenshot from the PC version of MP3:

Rockstar always had released first material of any of their games from the console versions.. and qualitywise the screenshots (of GTAV) aren't really very great. Textures for example are very low-res. I am not saying they are bad, but they aren't also that great for a PC version either.

 

Also which other GTA games have been first on PC except for GTA 1 and 2? These don't count anyways.. since they are too different from III and IV GTAs (also not being in 3D perspective).

But real sh*t tho, i would get the game on PC if I had gaming PC but i dont and I really dont have the money for one either, I just like the idea of MOD's thats soo sick changing the game to your liking

 

So as far as i know im pre ordering a PS3 copy of the game as soon as we get more info and a solid release date

yes i was wondering why the Trailer was in 720p by seeing the Technology these days 1080p would be nothing for R*'s PC

Why do people keep saying they don't play PC because of keyboard and mouse. You know you can connect controllers to the PC such as the xbox 360 wireless controller?

I wish I had a PC that could play GTA V. I know I'll still get the same gameplay experience on console but I'm guessing this won't be a shoddy port like IV.
