pc or console version?

PC. I think the Grand Theft Auto experience is best on the computer, but that's just me. Also, I think it's coming out first on the PC

i fully agree since i have always been a pc gamer the controls the freedom the mods the graphics but it's good on console too havn't tried any gta game on console though

I plan on buying and upgrading a new desktop mainly for GTA mods. I will still get the xbox version to play with friends, etc. I'm more suited for the console version because my gaming life has orientated around them for years. However, I will want the pc version for mods and better graphics. I hate having to watch and drool over taltigolt's mod videos - I want to experience them myself.

I'll be getting it on both so that I can mod on PC & play with irl mates on console, plus it's nice to have it on console.

 

Off-topic: why do people feel the need to put 'feel free to lock' or similar on their topics? Surely a mod would just lock it if they felt necessary & doesn't require the OP's permission. Plus, why would the OP want his topic locked? If you feel it deserves a lock, surely you shouldn't have created it in the first place. Just wondering since I've seen it a lot.

Its a big money maker for R* doing staggered release alot of us pc and console owners buy both.

I know I'll get console first and play it the most, but I may get it for pc also. Ya' know, for modding purposes. And this is just, me: I think the two will look identical, pc will just have a slightly better draw distance, that's how it was with IV.

Console first, only because it's likely to come out way before the PC version. Plus my friends are on consoles. And if GTA IV is anything to go by, I think it would be wise to be cautious of any initial PC version.

I will probably get both versions. Most of my friends play on Xbox 360 so I prefer to play multiplayer on the console. My personal favorite would have to be PC, I really enjoy having dx11, enhanced graphics, and the modding capabilities. I have a setup to where I can enjoy the best of both worlds though, my PC is hooked into my TV and I use a wireless Xbox controller to game with.

I'll get it on consoles since I always buy my games on console... (PS3 to be precise) But I bought GTA IV on PC. It was very fun for mods... But I prefert consoles because I like that lol.

Ill get both Console for the classic feel of playing a GTA game and PC mainly for the graphics and mods.

 

Ill be playing on Console the most though mainly because I like the feel of sitting on a comfy couch and chilling without a mountain off buttons to smash, and being able to play with friends that cant afford a gaming PC. GTA has never been a game I play for graphics.

 

That being said ill have my Copy for PC modded beyond comprehension. And can't wait to see how realistic i can get it to be. I can't wait to start building mods for it.

taltigolt's videos are what convinced to save up for a gaming rig. they offer SO much more value in the long run.

The computer I'd want to build would run me a little over $900 how I have it set up in my mind, but seeing as how R* usually releases console first, I'll probably just end up buying both a console copy and computer in the long run...

I'll buy both, when IV released I bought it on PS3 straight away.. after I made a Steam account close to 2 years later I also bought it on PC, a few years later on 360

I thought they usually released them on console first? I think they still will considering how terribly ported gta iv was. They didn't even HAVE a pc version of red dead redemption. I think it will release a month before pc.

Yeah there was a poll like this a month or so ago on GTAV.net but I don't think that included the option for "both". It's interesting to see these poll results.

 

Oh and, I just put things together in my head with you and the taltigolt channel! Just remembered seeing you before on newswire, as well. Keep up the great work on the videos!
