I will disappoint you, since GTAIII on PS2 all GTA's were "3D"...

 

To be more serious, if you talk about 3D Nvidia (or similar) solutions then by all means, let the folks who enjoy playing with "Extra Depth" if they wish - let them play, if you don't want that gimmick effect then you will play as usual, no one is forcing you with gun to your head to play that way.

Honestly? I don't give a sh*t about 3D. I've not even watched a film in 3D let alone anything else.

 

3D,4D,HD,Ultra HD .... it's all a sack of sh*t to me. The only one I really care about is HD and even that isn't a must for me personally.

Some of the posts here are just... We're in 2012 folks, when someone says 3D it's not graphics it's the out of screen technology. Definitely a no for me, it would indeed mean a decrease in graphics quality because the consoles would have to process some depth details, plus... Games in 3D, I'm not a fan of that.

As many people will misunderstand what you were trying to imply, that poll will have skewed results. Also, as highlighted on the technical shortcoming of rendering the world twice (at more like 20-30 fps btw, GTAIV/GTAV can't get near 60), Dan Houser's past comments about this, and the consensus so far, I think this will go no where.
