will136 Posted January 4, 2013 Share Posted January 4, 2013 The will's Woolery & Cafe are up and running ... it is located just past the wishing well at the entry gate to the Promiseland area ... free cookies in the cafe ... bring your shears to collect your pre dyed wool from the live dispensers ... the layout isn't as large as the Emporium from the old map but it'll do ... there is a sample wool color display in the tunnel entrance along with the woolery cafe and office ... and for those who wish to place an order rather than collect the wool themselves contact me and we'll work out a deal ... you buy, I fly ... I was also thinking of putting in a tunnel from the town square area ... heading northeast to the woolery ... between fireguy and stinos ... oh and there is a single saddled pig in a pen at the bottom of fireguy's mountain waterfall northside ... is he yours fireguy? ... And as for the postal boxes, I like the idea, I just don't see how we could implement it. Everyone would need their own chest, which would take up a decent amount of space... I'll see what I can do with it tonight. Scratch that, somebody already started building them downstairs. You could use signed books as letters or even give them items when they're not online. Stino for example has asked for gunpowder donations. I just got online and everyone was getting quite bad lag and low fps, not even mobs were spawning. I couldn't do a restart as we didn't want anyone to lose the XP that they'd been idling so long for. I'm building it over the wall to hopefully keep out of the way of any builders so right now the plan is just to make a giant loop. If you'd like to lay track or construct yourself a station feel free. I think it would also look pretty cool with fence posts underneath the length of it (like a roller coaster) but I'm not building them lol. I figure this is probably caused by lightning but I did indeed leave it alone in the hopes that someone could check to see if it was done by a player. 860 Posted January 7, 2013 Share Posted January 7, 2013 Usually rain puts out all fires. I think Pat's house got struck just at the last moments of the rainfall. Even then the fire stopped spreading on it's own while it still had plenty of planks near it. Firespread is crazy (like it used to be) only on Hard difficulty and I don't think the server's on hard. Fire does not spread if set to false. To my knowledge this also means you can't light up any new fires for example fireplaces. Not sure about portals. Do you mind if I add a stop on top of my mountain? It'll basically just be a delay, you can either do nothing and keep going or you can flip a lever to stay.
