I don't think the time uploaded (9:12) would give a hint to the date of more info. Basically all of the cryptic numbers we've seen in the trailer etc have turned out to be nothing at all. It's more likely to be scheduled uploads from the start of the week. However, I would love to be so so wrong with this, and to have a trailer on the 12th September!

Nope it is not, there is still plenty of time for a release in november/december.

Few weeks to get screenshots. When will they give us the 2nd trailer? By the time all screenshots are here, all hope for October release will be gone. Sad but I never thought the game will be out in 2012. Somehow I still have hope.

The ammount of pessimism on GTAForums is unbelievable. I think it's not healthy anymore. I remember how Rockstar teased the fans on Red Dead Redemption with some screenshots and sometime after it Rockstar released the second trailer of it which is why I believe that we'll see the second trailer of GTA V in mid or end September.

A few weeks or so, R* is basically saying 3 or 4 weeks--somewhere in that vicinity---somewhere in the realm of a month and we should be glad that R* blitzed us with all these screens in one week after the hard silence that we've endured. If I were to guess, I would say that Trailer #2 will come then and that is what these screens are from. I just hope 4-wheelers are shown. Based on the last screens, we get a car hauler! I'm so siked about that. I'm in for some smokey & the bandit, noone even knows.

Now 10 screenshots have been released and more info are "coming in a week or so". R* waited the end of summer because nobody cares about videogames during summer. The marketing is obviously started and a 2012 release is likely

The next step should be the first previews and a second trailer.

Game Informer, the best selling videogame magazine in the world has a history of GTA previews. they usually uncover their cover around the 2-3-4 day of the month.

September officially starts next week but on saturday, so probably the reveal will be the 3rd of September.

After the reveal R* is probably going to announce the next trailer for the same or the following week: probably thursday 6 or 13(less than 2-3 weeks).

 

The trailer will reveal the release date and the platforms. The new website and the preorder will be available from the following day.

Also remind that the 13 of september Nintendo is having the Wii U conference in NY. what if they will announce GTA V for Wii u?

 

Here's the plan:

 

 

- 3,4,5 September: Game Informer cover reveal: GTA V

- 6-13 Sepetember: Trailer 2 + Release date and platform.

- The day after: preorders and new website.

- Until Mid October: Trailer 3 and new previews.

- November: release

You read my mind. I'm a little tired of screens at this point. They are great to fill the void while R* prepare trailer 2 but if waiting a month or more for something new it should be another trailer.

Context is everything. Dissecting a sentence like you did could give their statement a whole new meaning. If you read everything they said, it CLEARLY states more SCREEN SHOTS are to come in the following weeks. Nothing else. That sentence is not weird; it's very clear and concise.

 

You're being led by your emotions rather than logic. You want something other than just screens. You want some amazing new trailer and information, but what you fail to realize is their statement ONLY says one thing: more screen shots to come.

You're forgetting that in February, Rockstar said. 'GTA V info in a few months.'

 

Then they said nothing until July 12. To Rockstar, a few is 'whenever we feel like it.'

R* doesn't go by silly theories. The 9:12 thing was pure coincidence, as you saw today it was before 9:12. It was always slightly past 9am because that's most likely the time they start working.

 

They will release a trailer and more information WHENEVER they want to, it can be tomorrow, in a week, a month, a year.....

I suggest that we're not too far from a release. R* wouldn't have shown a trailer if the game was more than a year away.

The only thing that has changed is, that R* isn't giving out early release dates anymore, which in my opinion is a GOOD thing, because with all other games so far the first mentioned release date always had to be delayed.

I think there will be pictures, maybe a cover in the next 3 weeks, with a new trailer in October.

 

I think a trailer will be released with a weeks hype again, just like last year, and will take the hype away from Black Ops II, with the release date (March-July 2013 I presume) featured at the end of the trailer.
