CrazyRaisin Posted August 23, 2012 Share Posted August 23, 2012 Soo yeah, no CLEO, no nothing, I just completed drive by, and then I went over to save. It freezes after saving, the game time still went, I could not move at all. So I paused and loaded my game and now it just plain crashs with the worlds most informative error "GTA_Sa has stopped working" Anything I can try to stop the crashing? Try removing the gta_sa.set file located in the San Andreas User Files folder. If that doesn't work, try re-installing the game. I have bought the game off steam, no CD is needed. I downgraded it via the GTA SA downgrader which many steam users have used. Now it just keeps crashing, well I'm going to try a save dump of Drive by and see if it does not crash. Ok just tried, still crashs. The crash happens after the loading screen. Script mods work great, whereas mods that involve you editing files will not work...The ONLY difference is that V3 is not downgradeable like V2 is....I have tried the same script mods on V3(the Steam version) that I tried on V2-ie.
